The LEGO Ideas NASA Apollo Saturn V (21309) is now available again on Shop@Home but who knows for how long. The availability of this set has been scarce but as of this time, the set can be added to the cart and you’ll also be getting the LEGO Iconic Cave (5004936) as a promotional item.

Update: And just like that, it’s temporarily gone again. I’ll update when it comes back.
Way back in January, it was revealed that there was a new LEGO Star Wars polybag with R3-M2 (40268). It had a little stand with a backing that is different from your standard minifigure polybags. There was little to no detail on its availability except for it showing up at LEGOLAND California back in March and a recently showing up at Toys R Us.
I was able to purchase it for $5.99 online before the page was taken down. It was also reported that they can be found in store but they do have a street date of August 26. You may get lucky and be able to purchase it but there’s a high chance that you won’t be able to purchase until then.
Minifigure
R3-M2 is a very obscure astromech droid that has only appeared shortly in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The body has your typical LEGO droid pattern with the main notable differences being the large bold stripes as well as the brown and tan coloring. The back of the torso and both legs have no printing at all however according to the one in The Disney Collection 2016 Droid Factory 4-Pack, R3-M2 is supposed to have a brown stripe going down the back. The dome is trans-black with a silver ring at the base with some brown panels throughout.

At the end of last year, LEGO ran a Friends Designer contest and the the winner will have their model become an official product. The winner was an 8 year old from London named Sienna who’s submission would eventually become the Heartlake City Playground (41325). Heartlake Times has the official images and product description of the set which will be available starting on September 1. There’s even a brand new minidoll named after Sienna. How cool is that! You can check out more images and an interview over at Heartlake Times as well.
LEGO® Friends Heartlake City Playground is the perfect place to have a blast with your besties. Centered around a tree house, it includes a climbing wall with colored holds and a twister slide. Push the functioning swings to make them go back and forth, spin the merry-go-round and make the 2 mini-doll figures go up and down on the seesaw. Help them take a seat on the benches as they watch Pippa the dog stretch her legs, then use the walkie-talkies to invite more friends to come out and play!
Continuing with my coverage of LEGO’s 85th anniversary, there’s a new video that shows the most defining moments of LEGO play. There are some of the usual ones that you probably would expect but there are also one on the list that may make you scratch your head as it was just released.
What are some things that you think should have made the list but didn’t? Let us know in the comments below.
A few days ago, LEGO celebrated their 85th anniversary and they have been releasing some content to commemorate the event. Throughout its history, LEGO has evolved from a wooden toy company to the largest toy company in the world. If you haven’t seen the video yet, it’s basically a condensed version of its long history. What is your fondest memory with LEGO? Let us know in the comments.
