LEGO Ideas Lamborghini Veneno Roadster Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Lamborghini Veneno Roadster by Firas_supercar is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The project is based on the limited production supercar which was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Automobili Lamborghini.

The Second 2016 Review Stage is getting kind of crowded now with the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster being the tenth to join the list. The project now joins Voltron – Defender of the Universe, Spaceballs – Eagle 5, The Addams Family Mansion, the Merchant’s House, the Large Hadron Collider, LEGO Observatory – Mountain View, Modular Construction Site, the Women of NASA, and Star Wars UCS X34 Landspeeder as the projects that qualify for the Review Stage.

LEGO Ninjago Day of the Departed SDCC 2016 Clip

Back at SDCC 2016, LEGO did a Ninjago Panel and there they did a sneak peak at the first episode of the new season on Cartoon Network called Day of the Departed. Many Ninjago fans have been asking to see it and LEGO has recently released the exclusive clip that was shown during the panel. It wasn’t mentioned during the clip but the episode will be airing on October 29 on Cartoon Network.

If you were thinking about creating a full bridge using the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Spider-Man: Web Warriors Ultimate Bridge (76057) set, now is a great time to pick up another copy as it is on sale for 20% off. Toys R Us has a 20% promotion going on for various LEGO Super Heroes sets and Amazon is matching the prices for this week. Toys R Us does have a better deal on Thursday if you have their credit card to save an additional 10%.

As for the Spider-Man: Web Warriors Ultimate Bridge (76057) set, it does have a lot of exclusive minifigures that you can get such as Scarlet Spider, Spider-Girl, Kraven, the Scorpion, Green Goblin, and Aunt May. Plus creating the other half of the bridge to make a full one is awesome in its own right as well. With the sale, the price per piece ratio goes down to $0.07/piece and that’s not too shabby for a licensed set. LEGO Minecraft Skin Pack 853609/853610 Official Images

Back in July, LEGO announced they will be releasing some new exclusive LEGO Minecraft Skin Packs in September. There are now official images of the two Skin Packs and we get to see a closer look at them. Each Skin Pack comes with four minifigures as well as their own accessories along with some items for your Minecraft world.

The first one is Skin Pack (853609) and it contains some characters in various outfits such as someone in a Creeper costume. The second Skin Pack (853610) is more of a sci-fi pack with some alien robot minifigure along with some minifigures that look like they’re from Star Wars.

I believe these two LEGO Minecraft Skin Pack will be available starting on September 1 at LEGO Brand Stores and on Shop@Home. There’s no mentioning of the pricing but I assume they will go for at least $14.99 for each pack.

LEGO Ideas Star Wars UCS X34 Landspeeder Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Star Wars UCS X34 Landspeeder by Psyence- is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The Landspeeder is based on Luke’s vehicle in A New Hope and this version hopes to become a set to be sold under the LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collectors Series tag as there hasn’t been one before. As we all know, these larger projects added with an existing license usually don’t make it far in the Review Stage but we’ll see if this one is able to pass it.

The Star Wars UCS X34 Landspeeder now joins Voltron – Defender of the Universe, Spaceballs – Eagle 5, The Addams Family Mansion, the Merchant’s House, the Large Hadron Collider, LEGO Observatory – Mountain View, Modular Construction Site, and the Women of NASA as the projects that qualify for the Second 2016 Review Stage.

LEGO Seasonal Vampire (40203) Official Images

Next week, LEGO will be releasing some new sets and one of them is the LEGO Seasonal Vampire (40203). The Halloween seasonal set has 150 pieces and will retail for $9.99 like with the previous Seasonal sets and it features the Vampire in his cape alongside a bat. Again it will be available starting on September 1 at LEGO Stores and on Shop@Home.

LEGO Disney Princess Mini Belle’s Castle Building Instructions

If you missed out on the LEGO Disney Princess building event at LEGO Stores last week which you had to register for, we now have some building instructions for the Belle’s Castle mini build. My good friend John has sent over some instruction scans of the build which looks pretty nice when completed. If you have the parts, you can now create your own mini Belle’s Castle.

These special building events are listed on the LEGO Store Calendars for the months that have them and I usually highlight them when the monthly calendars become available so you have to keep your eyes peeled.
