LEGO Ideas Lunch Atop a Skyscraper Achieves 10,000 Supporters

Lunch Atop a Skyscraper by DallasBricks is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build features a recreation of the 1932 photograph by Charles C. Ebbets of the workers having lunch on a steel beam.

LEGO Teases More Transformers Sets?

During this morning’s reveal of the upcoming LEGO Icons Transformers Soundwave (10358), we may have a teaser on what LEGO has planned for the future in the line. In a video posted on social media channels, we get a look at Optimus Prime, Bumblebee (10338), and Soundwave but in the background, we see two vehicle pictures on the wall. On the left we have Ratchet as the ambulance and Grapple as the crane. We already know that LEGO likes to throw in teasers in their videos so maybe we’ll see Ratchet and Grapple as future sets or maybe they’re just doing it for fun.

LEGO Icons Transformers Soundwave (10358) Officially Announced

LEGO has officially revealed the next LEGO Icons Transformers set with the first Decepticon in the line, Soundwave (10358). Releasing on August 1, the set has 1,505 pieces and will retail for $189.99.

As with the previous characters, Soundwave can transform into the iconic cassette player without disassembly. Also included with the set are Ravage and Laserbeak which can also transform into cassette tapes as well while also fitting into the cassette bay. Soundwave also comes with a sound brick that plays voice lines and sound effects.

Create a captivating centrepiece or surprise a loved one with this LEGO® Icons Transformers: Soundwave (10358) home and office decor building kit, designed for adults and fans of the epic sci-fi film series. LEGO One Piece Event at LaLaport Locations

As we get closer to the release of the LEGO One Piece sets, more promotional events have been announced. This time it’ll be overseas at 21 LaLaport locations. Fans will be able to participate in a dedicated event space where they can do a Gum Gum Fruit Make & Take. There will also be various giveaways where they can get a One Piece Straw Hat Headband and a LEGO Pirate Crew Minifigure. The event will be held from July 25 – August 17

LEGO Confirmed for San Diego Comic Con 2025

We’re only a few weeks away from San Diego Comic Con 2025 and we can confirm that LEGO will be site again this year. The floor plan for the Exhibit Hall was published earlier today and LEGO will be in their usual #2829 booth, right in the middle of the show floor. As far as LEGO content as SDCC 2025, there’s no information yet but CCI will be releasing the programming schedule very soon. We will be on hand again this year for all four days to cover whatever LEGO content will be on hand.

LEGO Friends Live Action Musical Announced

LEGO has officially announced that there will be a live action LEGO Friends musical special releasing in 2026. Award winning director and producer Kenny Ortega has been appointed to be executive producer of the show while Paul Becker will be directing and choreography.

The LEGO Friends TV special will have a fusion of physical and digital backdrops. With the help of next generation technology specialists, Final Pixel, the show will incorporate oversized LEGO elements alongside state-of-the-art LED volume technology and real time rendering with Unreal Engine.

Filming of the LEGO Friends musical special will begin filming in London this August.
