A few weeks ago, I ran a contest to give away a LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Winter Soldier (5002943) minifigure polybag. The contest is now over and there was a total of 3,090 entries. The winner was randomly chosen by Random.org and the winner is:

I’ve emailed the contest winner and they have 3 days to reply with their information and if I don’t receive it in time, I’ll have to reroll the winner.

LEGO Creator Ferrari F40 (10248) Available Today for VIPs

If you are a LEGO VIP member, you can now purchase the new LEGO Creator Ferrari F40 (10248) on Shop@Home as well as at LEGO Brand Stores. The set has 1,158 pieces and for some reason, the retail price has jumped up to $99.99 instead of $89.99 when it was first announced. LEGO Star Wars Death Star (10188) Listed as Sold Out on Shop@Home

Well it looks like the time is finally here. The iconic LEGO Star Wars Death Star (10188) has finally been listed as “Sold Out” on Shop@Home. The status was changed from “Call to check product availability” just yesterday so it may seem that the set will be finally retiring after 7 long years on the market. You can still pick up the Death Star Amazon at retail price and some LEGO Brand Stores may still have some left. I did hear from a source that the Death Star will be gone by the end of the year and it looks like it may be happening sooner than we think. If you have been holding off on picking it up, I suggest you drop what you’re doing and go get it.

There was a rumor earlier this year that a new Death Star set would be coming out in 2016 to replace the current one. With the news of set 10188 listed as sold out on Shop@Home combined with the rumor, it’s possible that we will actually be seeing a new one next year.

LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who Level Pack (71204) TARDIS Builds Plus Pre-Order Available

LEGO Dimensions has revealed the different ways the TARDIS can be rebuilt into for the LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who Level Pack (71204). You have the standard TARDIS but it can also be rebuilt into a Laser-Pulse TARDIS as well as the Energy-Burst TARDIS.

Also included in the Doctor Who Level Pack (71204) is the 12th Doctor minifigure who you can play as in the game and if you die, you can play as all of the previous incarnations of the Doctor. Finally, K-9 will also be a playable character.

You can now pre-order the Doctor Who Level Pack (71204) on Amazon it states that it will be available on September 27 but I’ve also heard reports of it being available on November 3 so I’m not sure which date is correct.

LEGO Ideas Lothlorien Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The latest project to hit 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas is Rakrondewl’s Lothlorien. This project is based on the Lord of the Rings house of Celebor and Galadriel as seen in the movie. There are a couple of play features that are included such as a minifigure catapult, flick-fire missiles, and detachable sections. The characters that are suggested include Galadriel, Celebor, Frodo Baggins, Aragorn, Legolas, and Boromir.

Lothlorien now joins the Brick-Built Adventure Time Figures, the Caterham Super Seven, and the Modular Library as the projects to reach the Second 2015 Review Stage.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes SDCC 2015 Throne of Ultron Building Instructions

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes SDCC 2015 Avengers: Age of Ultron Throne of Ultron

On the second full day of San Diego Comic Con 2015, LEGO sold the exclusive LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers: Age of Ultron Throne of Ultron set. Like with the Action Comics #1 Superman set, I’ve opened it up and have provided the building instructions for the set for you readers.

I can confirm there are no exclusive part to the Throne of Ultron set so that’s a sigh of relief for those who are wanting to recreate this set. However there are a few parts that are somewhat rare due to the fact that they have just been recently released this year in sets. For example, the fire pit bowl 6104346 is only in a couple of the newer LEGO Friends and LEGO Elves sets. Other than that, all the other pieces should be readily available on BrickLink if you’re sourcing your parts.

For the minifigures, Ultron is the same one as in The Quinjet City Chase (76032) while the Ultron Sentries are from Iron Man vs. Ultron (76029) with their neck brace 6104350 from the The Hulk Buster Smash (76031). If you already have these sets, then you should have no problem putting together the minifigures.
