One Week Left for BrickLink Designer Program Series 2 Pre-Orders

There is a little bit over a week left on the pre-orders for the Series 2 BrickLink Designer Program sets. There is only three sets available as the two more popular ones sold out within the first day of release. The next closest one to selling out is the Ominous Isle which is at about 60% capacity while the other two are at about 35%-40% sold out. Note they do not qualify for any promotions but you do get free shipping.

If the rest of the sets do not well out by June 30, they will be somewhat more rare since they did not hit 30,000 pre-orders and could command a little higher premium on the secondary market later on.

Logging Railway (910035) – $209.99

The Ocean House (910036) – $199.99

Ominous Isle (910038) – $239.99

LEGO Star Wars AT-TE Walker (75337) Amazon Sale – June 2024

Amazon has dropped the price on the LEGO Star Wars AT-TE Walker (75337) again by 20% which equals the lowest price ever for the set. It is priced at only $111.99 which saves you $28 and is a great army builder if you have the funds for it. The last time it was on sale at this price, it didn’t last too long.

LEGO Inside Tour The Vault Memory Lane (4000042) Revealed

The embargo for this year’s LEGO Inside Tour has been lifted and the set that is given away for attendees and for 2024 it is The Vault Memory Lane (4000042). The set represents the vault that is in the LEGO House that holds one of every LEGO set that has been produced.

The LEGO Inside Tour sets are some of the most coveted LEGO sets as they command a premium price if/when they hit the secondary market and I’m pretty sure that this one will be on the higher side. If you live in Europe some of the sets can probably cover the cost of the whole tour itself.

LEGO Ideas Artists Cafe – The University House Removed from Second 2024 Review Stage

It looks like a project has been removed from the LEGO Ideas Second 2024 Review Stage with no explanation. While updating my list of 10k supported projects for this review stage, I noticed that the Artists Cafe – The University House by 2PPL has gone missing. The builder’s page is still so they haven’t been banned and they’re pretty active but 403 forbidden page which means it has been disqualified for review.

LEGO hasn’t really been transparent on why certain projects have been removed. I believe they do notify the builder but unless they come out and public state why their project was removed, we won’t know why.
