Today is Back to the Future Day and to celebrate the occasion, I’m giving away the 2013 LEGO CUUSOO DeLorean Time Machine (21103). The set was officially retired at the end of last year but was still available around the beginning of this year. It has since been off the shelves and only available on the secondary market like BrickLink and eBay but now you have an opportunity to win one. Blocks Magazine Issue 13 Preview

The folks over at Blocks has sent over details of Issue 13 of the magazine. Check out the details below.

LEGO Ninjago 2016 Set Descriptions

I had thought about skipping this post but a number of reader have messaged me wanting the details of the LEGO Ninjago Winter 2016 sets. Toys R Us Canada has posted a few of the sets online including the descriptions. As mentioned before, season six will revolve around Ninjas and Pirates which is evident in the details below.

Cole’s Dragon (70599)

Face-off against sky pirate Bucko with Ninja warrior Cole’s Dragon, featuring a posable neck, wings and legs. Free the trapped Zane’ element from the special Djinn blade and ride away victorious! Includes 2 minifigures: Cole and Bucko.

The Martian LEGO T-Shirt on TeeFury

Teefury has a new LEGO t-shirt today that is based on Matt Damon’s latest movie, The Martian. The shirt shows an astronaut growing some crops on what appears to be on Mars which had a similar scene in the movie. The shirt starts at $11 and comes in black, brown, and navy. There about 10 hours left to purchase the shirt if you want one.

LEGO Releases Official Statement Regarding WALL·E (21303)

LEGO has finally posted an official statement regarding the head swivel issue for the WALL·E (21303) set on the LEGO Ideas blog. It’s pretty much the same thing that was said on a customer’s email that I reported on yesterday. The only difference is that they’ve updated the stock availability to it being shipped in 30 days.

If you’ve already purchased WALL·E, contact Customer Service to get the updated parts when they’re available.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Theatrical Poster Recreated in LEGO

Yesterday, Star Wars revealed the official poster for The Force Awakens and it didn’t take very long for someone to recreate it in LEGO. This has been making the rounds today on social media but Macro LEGO Universe has pretty much spot on made the official poster using LEGO minifigures.

LEGO Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters (75827) Set Description

It looks like Toys R Us Canada has starting listing more information about 2016 LEGO Sets as they have posted the set description for the LEGO Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters (75827). This pretty much confirms the rumor of this particular set. Important things to note is that it will retail for $399.99 CAD and contains a whopping 9 minifigures including Peter Venkman, Raymond Stantz, Egon Spengler, Winston Zeddemore, Janine Melnitz, Dana Barrett, Louis Tully, Library Ghost and Zombie Driver.

Also note that the image above is not the official set as it is based on Brent Waller’s LEGO CUUSOO project.

Recreate iconic Ghostbusters scenes with the 2-story Firehouse Headquarters, featuring laboratory, living quarters, containment unit and much more.
