LEGO Disney Pixar Luxo Jr. (21357) Officially Announced

LEGO has officially revealed the next LEGO Ideas set, Pixar Luxo Jr. (21357). Releasing on June 1 (pre-order today), the set has 613 pieces and retails for $69.99. It features Luxo Jr. from the 1986 short film and in the opening of various Pixar movies. The set also has the Pixar Ball as well. In addition, there are also Easter eggs of Disney and Pixar movies including Up, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Monsters, Inc. Toy Story, and Finding Nemo.

Celebrate the Playful Spirit of Pixar with the New LEGO Ideas Pixar Luxo Jr., Collectible Brick-Built Display Model

Billund, Denmark May 8th, 2025: The LEGO Group and Pixar have collaborated to unveil the first-ever brick built LEGO® Ideas Luxo Jr. Collectible Display model which will be available from the 1st June 2025. Synonymous with classic Pixar movies and heralding from 1986 when Luxo Jr. first appeared in a short Pixar film, fans will be able to recreate Luxo Jr’s. signature bouncing, hopping and rotating movements in bricks, for the very first time.

Paying tribute to the creativity of Pixar movies, the buildable display model is fully articulated and includes a buildable Pixar ball, which nostalgic fans can display with Luxo Jr. standing on it as if squashing it, inspired by the 1986 short Pixar film, Luxo Jr. Additionally, the Pixar ball opens up to reveal hidden easter eggs inspired by popular Disney and Pixar movies including Up, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Monsters, Inc. Toy Story and Finding Nemo – a real treat for all Pixar movie-lovers.

LEGO Gifts One Piece Creator LEGO Gum-Gum Fruit

The One Piece Netflix social media pages has posted a new video of One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda getting a gift from LEGO. The gift is a brick-built treasure chest as well as a LEGO Gum-Gum Fruit. The video does note that the Gum-Gum Fruit is an unique gift to Oda and will not be available for purchase. It looks like LEGO has started their campaign for the LEGO One Piece sets that are set to be released in August.

LEGO Elephant Pencil Holder (6571551) Available in Rewards Center

A new LEGO Elephant Pencil Holder (6571551) has recently popped up on the Rewards Center that you can redeem. The 147 piece set features a small elephant that can hold pens or pencils between the movable hands and the trunk. The set requires 2,000 Insiders point and you’ll get a code to use at checkout that you’ll have to use in 60 days. Note that the packaging is the yellow box ones that somewhat signify that they are more limited than the ones with the regular packaging.

LEGO Ideas Tree House (21318) Deal – May 2025

Amazon currently has a limited time deal for the LEGO Ideas Tree House (21318) for 30% off. The set is now listed for $174.99 which saves you a whopping $75 on it. You could also say that it’s off 12.5% since the price of release was at $199.99. The Tree House is one of the more older LEGO Ideas sets which has long since retired on the LEGO Shop but somehow Amazon still has it.

Fifty Seven Projects Qualify for LEGO Ideas First 2025 Review Stage

The LEGO Ideas First 2025 Review Stage is now set as there were 57 projects that qualified for it. These projects were the ones that hit the 10k goal from early January 2025 through May 5. There was actually 58 project that reached the goal but The Super Robots was removed for unknown reasons. With 57 projects to choose from, how many do you think will actually become an official LEGO Ideas set and which one(s) do you think will be chosen?
