The LEGO Movie Cloud Cuckoo Palace (70803) Review

In our first official review for The LEGO Movie sets, we have the Cloud Cuckoo Palace (70803). When I first saw images of this set, I was confused yet intrigued. Although the set has a lot of “girly” colors, they are so vibrant and insane that I was very interested in it. Plus the Unikitty alone is enough to make me choose to review this set first. The set contains 197 pieces and retails for $19.99 for a $0.10/piece ratio. The box contains four unnumbered bags and a small instructions booklet.

LEGO Friends Series 5 Animal Set Images Found

Somehow this piece of news went by unnoticed by us over the Christmas holiday. The official images of the LEGO Friends Series 5 Animal sets were posted on Eurobricks a few days ago. Similar to Series 4, this series will also have three different animals you can collect. These sets should be available sometime in 2014.

LEGO Minecraft Co-Build Update

LEGO Minecraft

The LEGO Minecraft team has posted a video giving an update on how fans input has helped them so far in different aspects of the Co-Build project. In the video, they have shown some new prototypes of the Creeper, sheep, and cow. The team also revealed that the desert biome was the one fans preferred more but they will keep working on both the desert and the jungle. This may hint that both biomes may be a set in the future. Finally, they have shown which mine cart fans liked the best. If you have any questions you want to ask the designers, feel free to post them on Facebook, the message boards on LEGO.com or in the comments section of the video.

More Uni-Kitties Revealed in Future The LEGO Movie Sets

Just2good over on Eurobricks has revealed two more Uni-Kitties that will be making an appearance in future sets. A few days ago, we found out that an Astro Kitty would be in Benny’s Spaceship. A normal Uni-Kitty is already in Cloud Cuckoo Palace (70803) and the Bizniz Kitty is in Lord Business’ Evil Lair (70809). According to The LEGO Movie: The Essential Guide, there will also be a Queasy Kitty and an Angry Kitty. The Queasy Kitty will be in Metalbeard’s Ship and the Angry Kitty will be in Emmet’s Construction Mech. I’ll most likely be picking up the Essential Guide to check out all the details about the movie and the sets as well.

The LEGO Movie Sets Now Available on Shop@Home

The LEGO Movie sets are now available on Shop@Home and at some major retailers and FBTB has done some awesome reviews on a majority of the sets already. I will also be doing my own reviews and giving my take as soon as I get my hands on them in the near future. I’ll be at the LEGO Store on January 1st later today in my search for all the Collectible Minifigures as well as maybe picking up a few of the movie sets. In the meantime, check out FBTB’s reviews of the sets and if you see what you like, feel free to use any of our links below to order from Shop@Home. By using the links, you’ll be supporting our site.
