LEGO Ideas Test Lab Designs Available on LEGO Shop Soon

Last September, LEGO launched the LEGO Ideas Test Lab Challenge which was invite only and the participants had to build something digitally in collaboration with Pick a Brick. The results are now in and there will be nine small designs that will be available for purchase on the LEGO Shop soon. As you can see below, there’s a wide variety of builds but the one that sticks out to me the most is the skull. Depending on the price, will you be purchasing any of the sets?

LEGO Star Wars 501st Clone Troopers Battle Pack (75345) Box Art Statement

LEGO has released a statement regarding the new LEGO Star Wars 501st Clone Troopers Battle Pack (75345). The main issue here is that the box image shows the helmet on the Clone Trooper doesn’t show what the final element and the positioning of the range finder. The box art shows it connected lower than the actual piece provided.

LEGO Star Wars Creative Lead Jens Kronvold Frederiksen states,

“Creating new sets involves a number of different teams working together in parallel, and unfortunately in this case the printed box art for 75345 features a computer render of a Phase 2 Clone Trooper helmet that doesn’t reflect the final finished physical element and positioning of the range finder on the figure.

In the final design of the physical helmet element, the visor dictates where holes for extra attachments need to be placed for them to sit. This is slightly higher than the position where the range finder is on the render found on the 75345 box.”
