There is only a little over one day left to cast your vote for the LEGO Ideas x Target – What Does Family Mean to You? contest in which the winning build will become a LEGO set. There are four finalists in the running and there will only be one build that will be sold exclusively at Target and on the LEGO Shop in the distant future.

The official trailer for Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania dropped earlier today and we finally get a better look at what the movie is all about. We also get a few glimpses of Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror including a shot of him with his comic book look.
The movie is set to be released on February 17, 2023 and it is almost for sure that we will be getting a few LEGO sets based on the first Phase Five movie.

Amazon still has their buy $50, save $10 promotion going on and they have rotated out some LEGO sets from last month. A couple of the new Botanical Collection sets have joined the list as well as some sets from The Batman, just to name a few.

Walmart currently has the LEGO Galaxy Explorer (10497) on sale for 25% off. This sale has been going on and off for the past weeks now so if you don’t see it, you may want to check back in from time to time. The set is still fairly popular with older builders as it hits the nostaglia factor and is an even better deal now that it’s discounted.

A few days ago while I was away, LEGO dropped the designer video for the LEGO Back to the Future Time Machine (10300), six months after its initial release. Ali Plumb talks with LEGO Designer Sven Franic and Yoel Mazur about some of the details that are in the set for all three versions of the car.
The non-DeLorean named Back to the Future Time Machine is now widely available and the LEGO Shop finally has inventory on it since it had a $30 price bump on it back in August.

Yesterday was LEGO Day at Macy’s and Toys R Us stores and fans who attended was supposed to get the items shown above but it didn’t happen that way for a lot of stores. From the pictures I’ve been sent, some stores did get polybags but I didn’t see any with the Clown (30565) but there were reports of that got the advertised items.
Some stores got five polybags including DUPLO My First Space Rocket (30332), DOTS Adventure Bracelets (41918), Build Your Own Monster or Vehicles – Make It Yours (30564), Parrot (30472), and LEGO Movie 2 Rex’s Plantimal Ambush (30460) along with a Series 22 Minifigure blind bag, the LEGO Masters swoop bag, and a Star Wars poster. On the opposite end of the spectrum, some only got the Series 22 minifigure which was a definite waste of time. Sounds like a miscommunication somewhere between LEGO and the stores. I’ve reached out to LEGO to see what happened there.
