LEGO Education Minifigures Launching with NASA Artemis I

The NASA Artemis I launch will be happening on August 29 and NASA along with LEGO Education is celebrating the event by sending a couple of minifigures into space. Two minifigures from LEGO Education SPIKE Prime will be sent onboard the shuttle on this historic journey.

The minifigures aren’t the first ones that LEGO has sent to space as three of them were on the Juno expedition in 2011 and reached Jupiter in 2016. These new minifigures have some LEGO Education space suits for their voyage. There is a new STEAM learning series that LEGO Education has set up called Build to Launch if you want to check it out.

Amazon currently has the LEGO Ideas Medieval Blacksmith (21325) on sale for 17% off the new regular price. As we know by now, the old price was $149.99 which is what it is priced at now but was raised to $179.99 after price increase at the beginning of August. It’s not much but at least it’s a discount even though it’s just the old price.

LEGO London Postcard (40569) Delayed Until January 2023 for North America

For some unknown reason, the LEGO London Postcard (40569) has been postponed in North America until January 1, 2023. Note that all of the other new postcard sets are already available with Paris being sold out temporarily and London has also been released in other parts of the world. It’s nothing too earth shattering but it’s just weird that only one of them would get delayed until next year since it was supposed to be released back in July.
