Starting in October, LEGO will be releasing the new LEGO Avatar sets and the first one we’ll be checking out is Neytiri & Thanator vs. AMP Suit Quaritch (75571). The set has 560 pieces and retails for $44.99. Even though it’s a medium sized set, it is the smallest system set for this wave, not including the BrickHeadz set.
Zavvi has a great sale on the LEGO Star Wars AT-TE Walker (75337) for 15% off the regular price. If you use the code LEGOSW during checkout, you can get the set for only $119.99 and free shipping. This is currently the best price you can get on the set especially since it only just released last month here in North America.

The LEGO Ideas Motorized Lighthouse (21335) has been out for a few days now and if you’re on the fence about it, LEGO has released the designer video for the set. Designer Luka Kapeter talks about some of the details that went into the set including the functional light which uses a brand new Fresnel lens piece. You can check out my review of the set here.
LEGO has updated their Retiring Soon list and there are a lot of larger sets that will be going away in the next few months. Some of the sets have been around for a few years now while some have a shorter life span. Overseas has a couple more sets listed than in North America so I would go with that just to be safe. There are also some sets that are temporarily out of stock but I’ve listed them for reference in case you find them at another retailer.
LEGO Stores will have a Make and Take event this week for a LEGO Space Shuttle build. On September 14-15, you can join in the building event which is on a first come, first served basis. The event starts at 5pm local time and there will be a limited quantity per store so get there early if you want to get a little freebie.
The Mandalorian Season 3 teaser trailer dropped earlier today and it looks to feature a now-retired LEGO set. During Bo-Katan Kryze’s voiceover, four other Mandalorians appear on screen which looks extremely close to the LEGO Star Wars Mandalorian Battle Pack (75267).
The set was one of the most popular sets when it first released back in 2020 and it retired at the end of last year. With the trailer showing them, the price of the set may definitely rise a bit more on the secondary market as LEGO fans scramble to find it. It is listed on Amazon for $24.99 which is $10 more than retail but it might as well be normal price now compared to sets that are currently on shelves.

If you’re looking for a deal for the LEGO Ghostbusters ECTO-1 (10274), Zavvi currently has a promotion for it for 21% off. When you use the code ECTO1 during checkout, you can get about a $50 discount on it plus you get free shipping as well. This is the best price you can find on it as no other retailers have any discounts on it.
