LEGO Ideas Auto Repair Garage 1930s Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Auto Repair Garage 1930s by legoceo is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build features an old school garage as well as a light blue car.

The project now joins Lilo & Stitch: Beach House, Indiana Jones, Raiders of the Lost Ark – 40th Anniversary, and Motorized Steampunk Skyship as the ones to reach the Second 2022 Review Stage.

BrickLink Designer Program Round 3 Set Pre-Orders Sold Out

As you can see from the image, all five sets for Round 3 of the BrickLink Designer Program have sold out completely in just over 12 hours. This is the fastest out of the three rounds that the sets have sold out and considering that this was also the most expensive round makes it even more impressive. Unless they decide to make more, that is the end of it and no more pre-orders will go up. The sets will be shipping in spring 2023 and I expect the secondary market prices for them to skyrocket when they are released. Were you able to get what you wanted?

LEGO Ideas x Target Fan Vote for Next Set

LEGO and Target has announced that they will be teaming up to release an exclusive LEGO Ideas project that did not pass a previous review stage. There are three projects that you can vote for and the one that has the most votes by May 31 at 10am ET will be sold at Target and on the LEGO Shop in North America and on the LEGO Shop/Brand Stores for the rest of the world. The winner will be announced in August.

LEGO® IDEAS THE STARRY NIGHT SET – PRESS RELEASE

REIMAGINE VINCENT VAN GOGH’S ICONIC PAINTING WITH THE NEW LEGO IDEAS STARRY NIGHT SET

17th May, 2022: In tribute to Vincent van Gogh’s famous painting, the LEGO Group has revealed the LEGO® Ideas The Starry Night set. This beautiful set was designed by Truman Cheng, a 25-year old Hong Kong based LEGO fan, through a submission on the LEGO Ideas platform, and has been created in conjunction with The Museum of Modern Art in New York.

The three-dimensional set reimagines Vincent van Gogh’s renowned 1889 painting in LEGO form, with strong emphasis on the artist’s striking brush strokes and colour choice. Inspired by the view from his window at the Monastery of Saint-Paul de Mausole asylum in Saint-Rémy, France, where the artist spent twelve months, The Starry Night is one of the world’s most well-known post-impressionist works and has been a visitor favourite at MoMA since it first arrived in 1935.
