LEGO May 2022 Sets Now Available on LEGO Shop

It is now May on the east coast and that means there are brand new LEGO sets available for purchase on the LEGO Shop. There is a wide variety of sets from various themes that should something for everyone.

The LEGO Star Wars May the 4th promotions are now live on the LEGO Shop. The main set for 2022 is the 1,890 piece UCS Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder (75341) which retails for $199.99. Remember to use Rakuten to earn some cash back on your purchases.

There will be a few promotions going on until May 8, while supplies last, and they include:

LEGO Star Wars Landspeeder Prints in Rewards Center Soon

In addition to the LEGO Star Wars promotions for May the 4th, there are also some prints that you will be able to get in the Rewards Center. In an email that was sent out this morning, there will be two prints available most likely with VIP points but it doesn’t give out a cost. One features the Landspeeder scene on Tatooine from A New Hope and the other is 5000 piece limited edition print of the UCS Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder (75341).

The Summer of LEGO Star Wars Panel at Star Wars Celebration 2022

Star Wars Celebration is returning this year to Anaheim and there will be a LEGO Star Wars panel on one of the days. There will be a panel called The Summer of LEGO Star Wars on Friday, May 27 at 12:30pm in which they will be celebrating the theme as well as LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The panel description does say something about brand new LEGO Star Wars sets but it’s doesn’t clarify if it will be the summer 2022 wave of sets or just the diorama ones that just released. We’ll have to see what goes on that day.

LEGO City 2022 Farm Sets Revealed

French toy shop JoeuClub has revealed some new LEGO City farm sets that will be coming out in June. There are a lot of new animals that you can add to your collection including some piglets, a light brown cow, chickens, rabbits, as well as sheep but sadly there is still no goats.

LEGOLAND California Reveals Life-Size Ferrari F40

LEGOLAND California has revealed a life-size brick-built Ferrari F40 as part of the new LEGO Ferrari Build and Race attraction. The build has over 358.000 parts and took a team more than 3,700 hours to develop and construct the Ferrari.

Opening on May 12, LEGO Ferrari Build and Race is a brand new attraction at LEGOLAND California with interactive zones that hope to inspire builders.

New LEGO Model to be Featured in New Interactive Attraction Scheduled to Open May 12, 2022!

CARLSBAD, Calif. (April 28, 2022) – It may not have more than 470 horsepower, but it’s built out of more than 358,000 LEGO® elements, weighs more than 3,000 pounds and is a one-of-a-kind replica of one of the most celebrated Ferrari vehicles ever created…the first-ever life-size Ferrari F40 model developed by the LEGO Group will be on display as a part of LEGOLAND® California Resort’s new attraction, LEGO Ferrari Build and Race, opening May 12, 2022.

The Ferrari F40 model took a team of designers and builders more than 1,800 hours to develop and more than 1,900 hours to construct the high-performance ultra-luxury sports car. Resembling the actual F40 Ferrari, the LEGO version is similar in size at 14 feet in length, more than six feet wide, 4 feet tall and a wheelbase at 8 feet.
