LEGO Star Wars License Reportedly Extended Another 10 Years

It has been reported that the LEGO Star Wars license has been extended for another ten years. According to The Holo-Brick Archives, the agreement was set to expire some time this year since the old license was also for ten years. Like with the previous one, there will be no change in terms of if we’ll be getting LEGO Star Wars Collectible Minifigures line as Hasbro still controls the figure market in that regard.

One interesting note is that sources have told The Holo-Brick Archives that the contract has been renegotiated to include all Disney intellectual properties. These IPs include Star Wars, Frozen, Buzz Lightyear, Marvel, and The Muppets, just to nae a few. If you didn’t see it yet, The Muppets will be getting a CMF line that should be coming out soon.

It’s not really a huge surprise to see the LEGO Star Wars license extended as it usually is one of the top themes every year. Even though the Skywalker Saga has ended, there’s an endless amount of things that LEGO can still produce with the amount of upcoming Star Wars project down the pipeline.
