Every year, LEGO releases a new LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series set for the May the 4th celebration and for 2022, it is Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder (75341). The set has 1,890 pieces and retails for $199.99.

Star Wars will be kicking off a new weekly program called Obi-Wan Wednesdays in which they will be showing off merchandise for the new series on Disney+. The event will start on May 25 and will showcase products from various licenses including LEGO. It has been rumored that there will be at least three LEGO Star Wars sets for the show and will be released in August.
There will be a number of LEGO DOTS summer 2022 sets coming out later this month and there are now official images of them. The main gimmick for this wave are the adhesives that allow you to stick the sets anywhere you desire however it looks like a one and done since you can’t peel off and restick them. Unlike the other LEGO summer 2022 sets, these will actually be coming out on May 29.

There are now official images of the third summer 2022 LEGO Monkie Kid set called the Dragon of the East (80037). Releasing on August 1, the set has 880 pieces and will retail for $79.99. The set features the Dragon of the East which is also called Azure Dragon and is also represented by a minifigure as well.
The LEGO Shop has revealed two new summer 2022 LEGO Classic sets that will be releasing in a few months. They’re your typical Classic sets that gives you a variety of parts in different colors and provides inspiration for you to create your own builds. If you’re looking for parts, the Classic sets usually give some great value and these are no exception.

The LEGO Star Wars May the 4th promotions are now live on the LEGO Shop and the main promotion for 2022 is for the Lars Family Homestead Kitchen (40531). The set has 195 pieces and you can get it with LEGO Star Wars purchases of $160 or more until May 8 or while supplies last.
The set includes a minifigure of Beru Lars who wears a brown shirt with a blue jacket. She does have a double-sided head that shows smiles on both sides.
The build features the Lars kitchen which was only shown for a short time in A New Hope but has been recreated in this set. The back wall is filled with cabinets with transparent blue doors. Inside the cabinets have a bunch of random stuff.
The countertop is also filled with items such as a replica of the Landspeeder, a bottle, teapot, and blue milk. There’s also some jars recessed underneath the countertop, one of which has some kind of plant.
Overall, the LEGO Star Wars Lars Family Homestead Kitchen (40531) is an unusual scene that LEGO used since it was only shown for a few seconds in the movie. The set is smaller than I expected, given the size of the box itself. Aunt Beru is exclusive to this set as this is the only minifigure made for the character so she’s pretty rare. Again, you’ll get this set for free when you make a LEGO Star Wars purchase of $160 or more until May 8.
