It has been announced today, that LEGO Masters Season One finalist, Boone Langston, will become LEGO’s newest Senior Designer. Boone has been known in the LEGO community at the Bricks Cascade events and designer of the BrickLink AFOL Designer Program Antique Fire Engine but he is moving to greener pastures as a LEGO designer. Again, this is just another example of an AFOL attaining their dream job of working for LEGO. It’ll be a while before we see LEGO sets that Boone will be creating but it will be worth the wait.

Yesterday, LEGO opened their new state-of-the-art campus at the Billund, Denmark headquarters which is intended to inspire their employees. This new campus offers a relaxing and inspirational place for employees and their families. Continuing with their sustainability mission, the campus is also environmentally friendly by using recycled materials and powered by solar energy.

Brick by brick, the state-of-the-art Campus is designed to inspire innovation and creativity for some 2,000 employees and provide an inspiring base for all LEGO Group employees worldwide.

BILLUND, DENMARK, April 5th, 2022.: After five years of construction and planning, the LEGO Group is celebrating the official opening of its state-of-the-art Campus at its headquarters in Billund, Denmark today. Designed by C.F. Møller Architects, the campus spans 54,000 square metres, creating an innovative workplace for approx. 2000 colleagues, and a home away from home for all LEGO Group colleagues across the world.

Reflecting the LEGO Group values of ‘Imagination, Fun, Creativity, Caring, Learning, and Quality’, the Campus has been designed to provide a playful, inclusive, and collaborative environment that enables employees to develop the best play experiences for children all over the world.

An important element in LEGO® Campus is the ‘People House’ a concept developed in close collaboration with employees that provides a space for all colleagues to network and play during and after working hours. LEGO Masters is returning to the US for Season 3 and there is now a premiere date set for May 31. Little is still known about the show at this time but Will Arnett will be back as the host. There’s no word if Amy Corbett and Jamie Berard will be back as the judges. Filming should be wrapping up some time this month so promotions for the show should be imminent.
