LEGO Back to the Future DeLorean New Rumors for 2022

Earlier this year, there was a rumor of the LEGO Creator Back to the Future DeLorean that was supposed to be released in the fall but that eventually turned out to be the LEGO Pickup Truck (10290). There are now new rumors from Promobricks that will instead be coming in April 2022. Reported to cost 169.99€, the DeLorean will have set number 10300 and will be exclusive to LEGO until July where it’ll be available elsewhere.

Furthermore, the details for the DeLorean include it being able to change from the original look from the first movie to the hover conversion design from 2015 with the folding wheels. Of course, you’ll also have the other iconic details of the DeLorean such as the OUTATIME license plate and the flux capacitor. Marty’s Mattel hoverboard is also said to be included. We’ll see if minifigures of Marty and Doc Brown are included but it’ll be a shame if they aren’t.

As always, these are purely rumors until LEGO announces them or images show up at an online shop.

LEGO Titanic (10294) Designer Video

The LEGO Titanic (10294) was one of the more popular releases this month and LEGO has recently released the designer video for the set. LEGO Designer Mike Psiaki talks about some of the details on one of the most famous ships in history. Also joining in the video is Southampton SeaCity Museum’s Andrew Skinner who goes into more depth about the ship.

Currently, the set is temporarily out of stock but you may have some luck in stores although it’s not very likely. From what I’ve been hearing, LEGO has completely sold out of it for now and there’s no word on when it will be restocking. It is now selling at 35%-40% above retail price on the secondary market.
