LEGO DC Character Encyclopedia: New Edition Coming in 2022 with Exclusive Minifigure

There’s a new LEGO DC book coming out next year called the LEGO DC Character Encyclopedia: New Edition and it will come with an exclusive minifigure. The book doesn’t release until May 3 at a price point of $21.99 but you can pre-order it today on Amazon. The exclusive minifigure is still a mystery at this time but the description of the book may give a clue on who it could be. Usually when the description talks about a character, there’s a high chance that it will be it and for this book, it could be Klarion the Witch Boy. The minifigure won’t be revealed until the book cover is finalized which should be a few months before the release.

LEGO Foundation Donating $150 Million to Support Children and Communities Across the World

Due to the impact of COVID-19 across the world, LEGO has announced that the LEGO Foundation will be donating $150M USD to support children and communities. In a short statement, $80 million will go towards the LEGO Foundation’s partners to accelerate COVID-19 recovery while $70 million will go to UNICEF to support access to vaccines and health supplies around the world.

The COVID-19 pandemic has reshaped the way children access education, the way their families earn an income to cover their needs, and how safe they feel in their homes, communities and countries. This is a child rights crisis.

In response to this, the LEGO Foundation is donating US $150 million to support children and communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic across the world.

US $80 million will enable the Foundation’s many partners working with children to accelerate ongoing COVID-19 recovery, US $70 million will go towards UNICEF to support access to vaccines and health supplies for parents, teachers and caregivers in the vulnerable communities around the world.

LEGO Ideas Avatar: The Last Airbender – The Avatar Returns Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Avatar: The Last Airbender – The Avatar Returns by ky-e is the latest project to achieves 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The main build is based on the Fire Nation cruiser and it also includes a brick-built Appa as well as some of the main characters in the series.

The project now joins Land Ahoy, Terrariums, Great Coral Reef, and Hyrule Castle 30th Anniversary as the ones to reach the Third 2021 Review Stage.

LEGO Ideas Hyrule Castle 30th Anniversary Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Hyrule Castle 30th Anniversary by BrickGallery is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build is based on the castle from Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and is a smaller version from his previous submission. It also proposes a few minifigures including several Guardians, Calamity Ganon, a Korok, Princess Zelda, a Bokoblin and Link.

The project now joins Land Ahoy, Terrariums, and Great Coral Reef as the ones to reach the Third 2021 Review Stage.

LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon (75257) Amazon Sale – September 2021

Amazon currently has the LEGO Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Millennium Falcon (75257) on sale for 20% off the normal retail price. It is now priced at $128 which is $32 off the $159.99 price point and it includes minifigures of Lando Calrissian, Chewbacca, C-3PO, Finn, Boolio, R2-D2, and D-O. The Millennium Falcon isn’t listed as a set that is retiring this year but it’s still good deal if you want the latest version of it.

LEGO Star Wars Battles Now Available on Apple Arcade

LEGO Star Wars Battles is now available exclusively on Apple Arcade. This new mobile strategy game features LEGO Star Wars characters and vehicles with competitive player-versus-player matches. The game does require you to be subscribed to Apple’s gaming subscription service.

Developed by TT Games Brighton and published by Warner Bros.
