RNLI Shannon Class Lifeboat by TheCrankyBuffalo is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build is based on the real-life boat used in the British Isles.

LEGO Micro Control Center (40708) First Look

There is now a first look at a rumored upcoming LEGO Insiders Reward item with the LEGO Micro Control Center (40708). This comes from the Building Instructions page and it features the winning build from the LEGO Ideas Exploring the Cosmos building contest held last year. The build features a micro control center based on the Classic Space theme and it also has a mini monorail with a space baby.

Smurf Village by The Half Blood Baron is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 2,700 piece build features Papa Smurf’s house, Smurfette’s house, Chef Smurf’s bakery, and Handy Smurf’s workshop.

LEGO Jurassic World Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus rex (76968) Officially Announced

LEGO has officially revealed their newest LEGO Jurassic World set with the Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus rex (76968). Releasing on March 12, the set has 3,145 pieces and will retail for $249.99.

The set features the Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton as seen in Jurassic Park that is more than 3 feet in length. This makes the set the largest Jurassic World set that LEGO has produced. Also included are exclusive minifigures of Dr. Ellie Sattler and Dr. Alan Grant in their dig site outfits as seen in the movie. They can stand on the display plaque build that uses a printing plaque for the Tyrannosaurus information.
