LEGO Ninjago Modular Rumored for 2022

The LEGO Ninjago theme has been releasing some modular type buildings in recent years with Ninjago City (70620) and Ninjago City Docks (70657) and with the most recent one with Ninjago City Gardens (71741). There are now rumors of a new Ninjago modular building coming next year but in a slightly smaller scale. This mystery set is said to have about 1,300 pieces and retails for around $120. Of course there are no details about it at this time and everything is considered a rumor until LEGO announces it.

LEGO Double VIP Points Event July 12-18

The latest LEGO newsletter that was sent out today revealed that we will be getting double VIP points on the LEGO Shop next week. For one week (7/12 – 7/18), you will be able to earn double points on everything you purchase including pre-order items. Too bad double points ends right before the LEGO Ideas Seinfeld (21328) releases a few days later.

LEGO Ideas Aircraft Engine Workshop Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Aircraft Engine Workshop by Stephanix is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The minifigure scale build is on a working turbo fan engine in a laboratory setting.

The project now joins Imperial Island Fort, Movie Set, Lifeguard’s Shack, A-Frame Cabin, Spaceballs, The Costume Store, Boston Dynamics Spot 1:4 Scale Motorized Model, Medieval Tavern, Tavern Under the Snow, Women of Computing, Working Mini Golf Course, Brick Walk, Medieval Harbor, Floating Island (Using Tensegrity), and Scooby Doo Mystery Machine as the ones to reach the Second 2021 Review Stage.

They have it priced at $40 which saves you $10 off the retail price of $49.99. LEGO VIP Add On Packs First Look

LEGO has revealed images of some new VIP Add On Packs on their building instructions page. There are four packs and they look to be just a slew of accessories for certain themes. It is unsure how or when they will be available but I’m assuming they’ll be in the Rewards Center for a certain amount of VIP points.

It will be available starting on August 1 for $29.99. The 265 piece set will include minifigures of Bro Thor, Korg, and a buildable Miek. The Scooby Doo Mystery Machine by Let Them Fly is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build is a large scale version of the iconic van with a full interior. It also includes a rotating plinth to showcase the van in various angles. It has 1,969 pieces to match the year Scooby Doo was first seen on screen.
