Last Day for LEGO Star Wars May the 4th Promotions

Today is the last day to get your orders in for the LEGO Star Wars May the 4th event. Surprisingly, the Tatooine Homestead (40451) promo set is still available with purchases of $85. Unfortunately, R2-D2 (75308) has been sold out and a majority of the helmets are now in backorder status but there’s still plenty of sets in stock to earn double points on.

LEGO Ninjago Hydro Bounty (71756) Development Notes

A few days ago, we got our first look at the summer 2021 LEGO Ninjago sets and set designer Niek van Slagmaat has chimed in on the behind the scenes development of one of the sets. With the very positive response to this wave, Niek gives an in-depth look at the Hydro Bounty (71756) which is pretty rare since LEGO doesn’t really release development photos.

Not only does the Hydro Bounty a submarine, it also has a mech integrated into it as well which we really can see from the official set images that came out the other day. What’s funny enough is that Niel actually designed the set from home during the pandemic. You can read more about the Hydro Bounty in the Niek’s Twitter thread.

LEGO City Wildlife Rescue Camp (60307) Revealed

There’s a new LEGO City summer 2021 Wildlife set that has popped over at the LEGO building instructions page with the Wildlife Rescue Camp (60307). There’s not much details on it at this time and the image a little hard to see but it does include a variety of animals including an elephant, mountain lion/puma/cougar, lion, eagle, and a couple of monkeys. This is a larger set than the Wildlife Rescue Operations (60302) so it’ll probably be priced at $99.99.

LEGO DC Comics Tumbler (76240) Rumored for September Release

There’s a new rumor going around online stating that we could be seeing an update to the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes The Tumbler (76023). 1414falconfan on Instagram has reported that the Tumbler (76240) will be released in September for $200-$250 and could include minifigures of Batman and the Joker. It is also said to have the 18+ label as well. The original Dark Knight version of it was released back in 2014 with a very exclusive Bat-Pod (5004590) coming out in 2015 to pair up with it. Obviously, we’re still a long ways away from September so these are purely rumors until LEGO announces it.

Happy May the 4th – LEGO Star Wars Promotion Still Available

Happy May the 4th and the LEGO deals continue on for at least another day here in the US. Although the new R2-D2 (75308) is temporarily sold out online, you can still take advantage of double VIP points and the free Tatooine Homestead (40451) is still available with purchases of $85. In addition, the Imperial Shuttle polybag may still be available with in-store purchases of $40. Lastly, there’s a sweepstakes in the Rewards Center for the Dutch Vander minifigure and print that runs until May 21.

LEGO Disney Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck’s Farm (10775) Revealed

We’ve already seen a few summer 2021 LEGO Disney Mickey & Friends sets and there’s one more that has been revealed on LEGO’s building instruction page with Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck’s Farm (10775). It is a 4+ set but it includes minifigures of Mickey and Donald in new variants. There’s also some animals including a chicken, horse, rabbit, and a sheep. This is the first sheep mold that LEGO has made and we’re getting that much closer to the mythical goat that fans have been pleading for.
