May 6, 2021: Today, the LEGO Group reveals a cool, brick-built version of The Bad Batch – Attack Shuttle inspired by the new Star Wars animated series, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, streaming only on Disney+. The LEGO® Star Wars™ The Bad Batch™ Attack Shuttle construction set has been created for children ages 9+ and Star Wars aficionados looking to engage in their own clone missions.

In the new series, the Attack Shuttle is piloted by a group of elite clones known as the Bad Batch (Tech, Echo, Hunter, Wrecker and Crosshair) and each member has been recreated as a LEGO minifigure in the 969-piece construction set.

The Attack Shuttle construction set also comes with two land speeders, allowing children and fans to recreate thrilling scenes from the new animated series. The model features awesome details to help Star Wars and LEGO fans alike play out their own missions, with weapon storage in the cabin, foldable wings and spring-loaded shooters.

LEGO Ideas Typewriter (21327) Rumored for June/July Release

It doesn’t seem like it but it’s been a while since we’ve had a LEGO Ideas set release but we may get another one soon. There’s rumors that the LEGO Ideas Typewriter (21327) could be released in June or July with a price tag of $200. It is said to have 2,078 pieces and the main color scheme will be sand green. I guess the color is to resemble the typewriters from back in day which you can see on Ole Kirk Christiansen’s desk.

The LEGO Typewriter by Steve Guinness hit 10k supporters back in October 2019 and it was chosen as one of the winners in June 2020 so the set has been in development for quite a while. Keep in mind that there are still six other LEGO Ideas sets under development so LEGO does have their hands full trying to crank them out.

LEGO is asking for some feedback about the VIP program in the LEGO VIP Rewards Center and you can earn some points for your time. This survey was open to other parts of the country a few weeks ago but has recently opened up in the US.

The purpose of the survey is to help improve the VIP program and the rewards that LEGO provides. There’s 21 questions and it shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes to complete.

We are committed to continuously improving the VIP program to meet the needs of our fans. We’d be so grateful if you could take this survey and share your thoughts and opinions. Your feedback is incredibly useful and helps us get better at what we do.

LEGO Ninjago Hydro Bounty (71756) Development Notes

A few days ago, we got our first look at the summer 2021 LEGO Ninjago sets and set designer Niek van Slagmaat has chimed in on the behind the scenes development of one of the sets. With the very positive response to this wave, Niek gives an in-depth look at the Hydro Bounty (71756) which is pretty rare since LEGO doesn’t really release development photos.

Not only does the Hydro Bounty a submarine, it also has a mech integrated into it as well which we really can see from the official set images that came out the other day. What’s funny enough is that Niel actually designed the set from home during the pandemic. You can read more about the Hydro Bounty in the Niek’s Twitter thread.

LEGO City Wildlife Rescue Camp (60307) Revealed

There’s a new LEGO City summer 2021 Wildlife set that has popped over at the LEGO building instructions page with the Wildlife Rescue Camp (60307). There’s not much details on it at this time and the image a little hard to see but it does include a variety of animals including an elephant, mountain lion/puma/cougar, lion, eagle, and a couple of monkeys. This is a larger set than the Wildlife Rescue Operations (60302) so it’ll probably be priced at $99.99.
