The LEGO Looney Tunes Collectible Minifigures (71030) were announced a few days ago and we finally have some details about them including the release date and pricing. Like with many other LEGO sets coming out this month, they will be available starting on April 26 for $4.99 each. Some people thought LEGO was raising the price on them because someone purchased them early at an independent store but that isn’t the case. There are 12 unique Looney Tunes characters to collect and each complete box contains 36 blind bags. That means there should be three complete sets per unopened box if you can find one.
LEGO has been named the most reputable company in the world for the second straight year. The RepTrak 100 survey was released and LEGO was named the most highly regarded company out of 100 companies.
THE LEGO GROUP AGAIN RANKED AS THE WORLD’S MOST REPUTABLE COMPANY
BILLUND, April 12, 2021: Today, The RepTrak Company™ released the annual Global RepTrak®100 survey, ranking the LEGO Group as the most highly regarded company in the world when it comes to corporate reputation for the second year running.
Chief Executive Officer of the LEGO Group, Niels B. Christiansen, commented on the results:
“I’ am very proud of everyone at the LEGO Group who contributed to us being recognised as the most reputable company for the second year in a row. During a difficult year we prioritized doing what’s right and lived our values. We supported those in need and inspired children and families through play. Being able to have a positive impact on society motivates us every day.”
The Global RepTrak®100 study developed by The RepTrak Company™ measures the corporate reputation of 100 companies by asking the public in 15 countries questions about the emotional appeal of each company. The study scores the companies on seven dimensions: Products & Services, Innovation, Workplace, Governance, Citizenship, Leadership and Performance.
LEGO has officially kicked off their double VIP points promotion on the LEGO Shop. From now until April 20, you can earn double points on every purchase. Fortunately, there are a number of LEGO Exclusive sets available including the LEGO NASA Space Shuttle Discovery (10283) and LEGO DC 1989 Batmobile (76139) still in stock. In addition, the LEGO Ideas Medieval Blacksmith (21325) is available for backorder. As always, please use our links to make your purchases as they help support the site.
It looks like we may finally get double VIP points again on the LEGO Shop very soon. The Australian LEGO Shop has already kicked off their promotion and it runs until April 20. I’ve been told that we could see the promotion some time in mid-April so we’ll see if double points actually start here in North America tonight. It’s been a while since we’ve had double VIP points and I believe the last time was back in October.
Like with the LEGO Harry Potter Wall Art, the Disney’s Mickey Mouse (31202) also has some new alternate designs that you can create with free instructions provided by LEGO. The new designs by Kitt Grace Kossmann features Mickey winking and a front portrait of Minnie and honestly, I prefer the winking Mickey over the original design for the set. Both designs only require one copy of the original Mickey Mouse set.
For those who didn’t get their pre-orders in for the new LEGO Marvel Carnage (76199), it is now available for purchase on the LEGO Shop. The set has 546 pieces and retails for $59.99. It is part of the new helmet bust sets that could be based on Venom: Let There Be Carnage movie with Venom (76187) releasing on April 26.
