This is a reminder that the promotion for the LEGO Seasonal Easter Bunny’s Carrot House (40449) starts tonight at midnight on the LEGO Shop. You’ll be able to get it for free with purchases of $60 or more until April 5. In addition, the promo for the Amelia Earhart Tribute (40450) will also be running at the same time so technically you can get both with $100 purchases. Keep in mind that products already in the cart won’t trigger the promos unless you add them when the promo period starts. Read my review of the Easter Bunny’s Carrot House here.

Walmart currently has the LEGO City Passenger Train (60197) on sale for 20% off. Normally, the set goes for $159.99 but it is now priced at $127.99 which is a great deal for a set that doesn’t get discounted that often, let alone at this price.
Update: Amazon has now price matched Walmart as part of the Frustration-Free Packaging.
It looks like the promotion for the LEGO Amelia Earhart Tribute (40450) has been extended for a few days for those last minute shoppers. The promotion was initially set to end tomorrow night but if you look on the Offers & Sale page at the bottom, you’ll see that it will now end on March 17 instead. LEGO may have over-produced this set just a little bit even though the hype for it was decent enough to think it would sell out quickly.
There’s a tighter window when the LEGO Ideas Winnie the Pooh (21326) set launches on March 18. You may have at chance to still get both promos if you purchase right at midnight. It all depends on if the programming was done correctly to remove the Amelia Earhart set on time at that time. We shall see.
The LEGO Super Mario Adventures with Mario (71360) is currently on sale for 20% off the retail price. It is now priced at $47.99 and this set is needed if you intend on fully utilizing the whole theme as it contains the Mario figure. This is the first time that the set has hit a significant sale since its release.
The fan vote for the LEGO Ideas Out of This World building contest is now live and the winning build will have a chance to become a LEGO gift-with-purchase set. There are 15 entries in the running and voting ends on March 22. Check out the entries below and click on the names of the builds to cast your vote. Remember that you only have one vote so choose wisely.
This morning, the LEGO Marvel Carnage Helmet (76199) went live for pre-order and LEGO may have accidentally revealed a Venom Helmet set as well. If you look at the back of the box (which is still up on the LEGO Shop), you can see that the top of it shows the Venom logo along with “Assembled from the Spider-Man Universe.” We can most likely expect to see a Venom set (76187) as we get get closer to the release of the new Venom: Let There Be Carnage movie this summer.
