LEGO Ideas The Castle of Brickwood Forest Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Castle of Brickwood Forest by poVoq is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 3,000 piece build features a castle that opens up to reveal details on the inside. It also proposes eight minifigures: the king, knight, 2 soldiers, queen, princess, and 2 forestmen.

The project now joins The Shire, the Hobbithole of Frodo and Bilbo Baggins, Among Us: The Skeld Detailed Map, The Office, Castle of Lord Afol and the Black Knights, The X-Files: I Want to Believe, The House of Chocolate, The Simpsons – The Krusty Burger, Asterix and Obelix, 4½-Litre 1927-31 Bentley ‘Blower’, Scania Next Generation S730, The Karate Kid “Wax On, Wax Off”, Hyrule Castle (The Legend of Zelda), Metroid: Samus Aran’s Gunship, NASA’s SLS & Artemis, Lego Bookends, Animal Crossing: New Horizons Paradise, Claus Toys, and Baba Yaga as the ones to reach the First 2021 Review Stage.

LEGO Disney Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Brick Sketeches Revealed

LEGO has uploaded product listings for some new LEGO Disney Brick Sketeches for Mickey Mouse (40456) and Minnie Mouse (40457). Both sets will retail for $16.99 which is the new adjusted price for the Brick Sketeches and will be available starting on March 1. We can probably assume that we’ll get more Disney characters in this line in the future as well.

LEGO Pirates Logo Collectible Coin Available in Rewards Center

The LEGO Pirates Logo Collectible Coin is now available on the LEGO Rewards Center. This is the second coin that has been released and it costs 1,150 VIP points. If you’re collecting these coins, the display case is still available for 750 points as well as the previous Castle Coin for 1,150. If you’re wondering, they are metal and come shipped in a screwdown case.

LEGO has launched a new playlist on Spotify called LEGO White Noise to help builders relax. It is composed of audio tracks using sounds of LEGO bricks in various situations. Yes, that’s right. LEGO White Noise is a LEGO ASMR playlist. You can read more about it below.

BILLUND, February 1st 2021: Today, the LEGO Group is launching LEGO® White Noise, a new playlist designed to help listeners find a moment of relaxation in their busy lives. The playlist is composed of a series of audio tracks created using nothing but the iconic sounds that the LEGO brick makes, sounds that are recognised by generations all over the world.

Each LEGO element makes a unique noise, which is why designers experimented with over 10,000 in their quest for the perfect soothing sounds. The result is a soundscape that includes tracks such as ‘It All Clicks’ which perfectly captures the joyous sound of two LEGO elements joining together, and ‘The Waterfall’ created by pouring thousands of LEGO bricks on top of each other.

LEGO Ideas Medieval Blacksmith (21325) Now Available on LEGO Shop

The LEGO Ideas Medieval Blacksmith (21325) is now available for purchase on the LEGO Shop. The set has 2,164 pieces and retails for $149.99. Early consensus is that this will be a pretty popular set despite the changes from the original project submission.

In addition, the promotion for the LEGO Year of the Ox (40417) is now available with purchases of $85. Of course when you get the Medieval Blacksmith, you’ll automatically qualify for it.

LEGO Education BricQ Motion Coming Soon on LEGO Shop

LEGO has posted some product listings for the recently announced LEGO Education BricQ Motion sets on the LEGO Shop. The BricQ Motion Essential Set (45401) will be for kids ages 6+ while the BricQ Motion Prime Set (45400) will be targeted for kids ages 10+. LEGO started selling the LEGO Education sets on the LEGO Shop last year during the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and these new ones will further help parents and teachers educate kids about STEAM. There’s no word yet on when they will be available but both sets will retail for $99.99.

LEGO Marvel Advent Calendar Rumored for 2021

LEGO news has been pretty quiet the last few days but there’s a new rumor of a potential a LEGO Marvel Advent Calendar being added to the lineup this year. The structure will probably be the same as in the other Advent Calendars with the 24 different gifts with exclusive minifigures randomly put in.

If this true, it will be the third licensed theme for the Advent Calendars joining Star Wars and Harry Potter. It will also be a great year for Marvel fans as there’s also a LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures series rumored to be coming in 2021 as well.
