LEGO has announced the winner of the LEGO Ideas A Twist of Nostalgia building contest which will become a future gift with purchase set. The winner is the Sea Serpent by HallowedBrick02 which is a re-imagining of the 6057 set from 1992. There were over 750 entries in the contest and it got dwindled down to 13 finalists for the fan vote. The build will no go into production and we’ll see it available probably about a year from now.
The fan vote for the LEGO Ideas Timeless Creations building contest is now live and you can choose the next fan made set coming to stores in the future. There are five finalists and they represent something that is iconic but is very recognizable and timeless. The fan vote ends on June 10 and the winning build will be announced on September 8.
LEGO has officially revealed another book nook set in the ever-growing line with the LEGO Icons The Lord of the Rings: Balrog Book Nook (10367). Releasing on June 1 (pre-order today), the set has 1,201 pieces and will retail for $129.99. The set features a book nook of the Bridge of Khazad-dum where Gandalf the Grey faces off against the minifigure scale Balrog. There’s even a plaque that displays Gandalf’s iconic phrase, “You shall not pass!”

The LEGO Indiana Jones Temple of the Golden Idol (77015) has been officially retired but it looks like it is available at Amazon for retail. The set is still listed for $149.99 and if you somehow missed it or want more to sit on, now is your chance. The set features the opening scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark and it includes minifigures of Indiana Jones, Satipo, Belloq, and a Hovitos Warrior.

LEGO has announced that season 3 of LEGO DREAMZzz is coming June 5 with Enter The Cyber Game. This season, the heroes will fight a new cyber based villain called Dreamsmasher. It is a two part season with the first half airing June 5 and the second half in August. We’ve already got a good look at the five summer 2025 sets that will be coming out in August.

From now until May 31, you can get it with purchases of $100 both online and in stores. I’m not sure why the LEGO Offers & Sale Page doesn’t show it anymore on the US site and I thought it sold out but it does still add to cart automatically when you reach the price requirement.

Working Modular Fairground by Baron von Barron is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 3,000 piece set features a working motor that operates the various attractions including the Ferris wheel, entrance sign, the can throw, carousel, rotating cotton candy, and the fall tower.
