LEGO City People Pack – Space Research and Development (60230) Best Buy Sale – December 2020

Best Buy currently has the LEGO City People Pack – Space Research and Development (60230) on sale for only $31.99 which is 20% off the normal retail price. This is the lowest price I’ve seen the set at and it seems to be at the end of its shelf life as it was released last year on the LEGO Shop. The only downside is that you’ll get it in 2-3 weeks. You can also choose store pickup to save on the shipping cost.

LEGO BrickHeadz Chinese New year Pandas (40466) Official Images

LEGO has uploaded the product listing for the LEGO BrickHeadz Chinese New year Pandas (40466). The set has 249 pieces and retails for $19.99. It features a mother panda and two cubs as well as a little tree. This set is only one of the few Chinese New Year 2021 sets that will be coming out soon.

Help kids mark a special occasion with these charming LEGO® BrickHeadz™ Chinese New Year Pandas (40466). This set contains a mother panda and her 2 cubs, one sitting, the other lying down. Each bear has its own sturdy baseplate so they can either be displayed together or separately around a bedroom. The set also comes with bamboo stalks, a lantern and a buildable mandarin orange tree, which is a symbol for good luck.

• Wish a LEGO® fan good luck with the gift of these cute LEGO BrickHeadz™ Chinese New Year Pandas (40466). Each panda comes with its own baseplate so they can be displayed together or on their own.
• This set includes 3 LEGO® BrickHeadz™ pandas – a mother bear and her 2 cubs – as well as a lantern and a buildable mandarin orange tree.

LEGO Botanical Collection Pre-Orders on Amazon Canada

If you’re in Canada and want to secure one of the new and highly anticipated LEGO Botanical Collection sets, you may want to head over to Amazon Canada. They are offering preorders for both the Flower Bouquet (10280) and the Bonsai Tree (10281). I fully expected these two sets to sell out when they launch on the LEGO Shop on January 1 so why not guarantee the sets early and avoid the hassle later of trying to find one later. Unfortunately, you’ll be missing out on VIP points and whatever promotion(s) LEGO will be having. Again, this is for Canada only.

LEGO Ideas BrickLink Designer Program Project Speculation

Yesterday, LEGO announced that they will be working with BrickLink to produce LEGO Ideas projects that were made into official set. As of this writing, there are 44 non-IP projects that were not approved to become sets and that number jumps up to 60 if you count the ones that are currently in review. From the list, there were plenty of projects that fans wanted to be real sets but couldn’t and this upcoming program could finally allow it.

Information about the program is still mostly under wraps but more details will be coming early next year. Depending on when that is, it may or may not include the projects that are currently under review and will also depend on when LEGO announces the next wave of winner(s). Now that we know that only select non-IP projects will be under consideration, which ones do you want to purchase if it comes to the BrickLink AFOL Designer Program?

LEGO Ninjago The Gardens of Ninjago City (71741) Teaser

It looks like physical copies of the German 2021 LEGO catalogs are going out and inside seems to be a teaser for the rumored LEGO Ninjago The Gardens of Ninjago City (71741). We reported about this set back in August and it is supposedly an expansion set for Ninjago City (70620). Some updated information from Promobricks suggests that it will have around 3,500 pieces and have almost 20 minifigures. The price of it will be about €299.99. From the image above, the set looks to be in the background behind Master Wu the caption says it set will be available starting in May.
