In the wake of current events, LEGO has announced that they will be donating $4 million to organizations that are dedicated to supporting black children and educating about racial equality. LEGO has usually been quiet on controversial issues but they have taken a stand and not staying silent.

We stand with the black community against racism and inequality.

There is much to do.

We will donate $4 million to organizations dedicated to supporting black children and educating all children about racial equality

LEGO House Wooden Duck (40501) Building Instructions for North America

Yesterday, LEGO “revealed” the next exclusive LEGO House set which is the Wooden Duck (40501) and you were able to download the building instructions, if you aren’t in North America. If you are, you may have gotten an error trying to download it because North America has been geo-blocked for some reason. I was able to get a copy of it through VPN and you can download the instructions here. The file is 23.5MB so it’s a decent size. Thank you to those who also offered to send the file over as well.

LEGO House Holding Free Virtual Live Tours

LEGO has announced that they will be hosting live tours of the LEGO House. The tours are free but you will need to pre-register for each that you would to attend here. Each tour is 60 minutes long and they take you though certain topics for that day.

LEGO House Live Tours – a new initiative

Many LEGO® fans from all over the world are not able to visit LEGO House due to the restrictions of the COVID-19 outbreak.

For all of you we are now opening up the History Collection in the basement of LEGO House to invite you to join the free LEGO House Live Tours where we introduce you to the history of the LEGO Group.

The LEGO Group started back in 1932 and its history is full of stories and play. To provide an in-depth live tour we offer 5 individual tours based on 5 important chapters of the LEGO Group’s history. The tour will be hosted by a LEGO historian, who is an expert in LEGO history, and you will be able to ask questions during the session via Live Chat. The tour guide will answer your questions live.

Tour: The beginning of the LEGO Group, 1932 – 1946 – June 11, 2020

LEGO House Exclusive Wooden Duck (40501) Revealed

Earlier this year, it was reported that the LEGO House Tree of Creativity (4000026) would be retired and a new exclusive set would be taking its place. Fast forward to today, we now know of the set thanks to Brickset which is the Wooden Duck (40501). The building instructions were found uploaded to Customer Service but it looks like they have been quickly taken down.

The set pays homage to the Wooden Duck created by Ole Kirk Christiansen that was released in 1935. Like with other LEGO House exclusives, I don’t see it being available online and will be only available at the LEGO House, unless you have connections or purchase them off the secondary market.
