LEGO Trains 40th Anniversary Set (40370) Promotion Now Live on Shop@Home

The promotion for the LEGO Trains 40th Anniversary Set (40370) is now live on LEGO Shop@Home. From now until March 15, you can get the set for free with purchases of $99/€99/£99. The set pays homage to the original 7810 version with some updates. If you’re thinking about picking it up, I wouldn’t hesitate as this could be one of the more popular promotions LEGO has done and it might sell out before the promo end date. To help you get closer to the $99 threshold, LEGO has surprisingly released the LEGO Creator Fiat 500 (10271) very quickly after its reveal earlier today. LEGO Classic Bricks and Animals (11011) Walmart Sale – February 2020

If you’re looking for a large quantity of bricks at a great price, Walmart currently has the LEGO Classic Bricks and Animals (11011) set on sale for $34.76 which is 42% off the regular price. The 1,500 piece set features a variety of parts in various colors. Some of the parts are very common while some are still fairly rare. The price per piece ratio with the discount goes down to $0.02 which is the lowest I’ve seen in any set.

LEGO Creator Fiat 500 (10271) Officially Announced

LEGO has officially revealed their latest LEGO Creator vehicle set with the Fiat 500 (10271). The set has 960 pieces and will retail for $89.99/$129.99 CAD and it will be available starting tomorrow, March 1. The set features the iconic Fiat 500 as well as a folding easel with a painting of the Colosseum.

Also revealed today was a life-sized model of the Fiat 500. It has 189,032 pieces and it took LEGO designers 830 hours to build.

LEGO Paint Party Puzzle by Chronicle Books

Continuing with some new products coming out of Chronicle Books, there will be a novelty item coming out soon called LEGO Paint Party Puzzle. It is a 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle featuring some paint cans filled with colorful LEGO bricks which is taken from the LEGO Still Life with Bricks: The Art of Everyday Play book which is also coming out in April. LEGO House Tree of Creativity (4000026) to be Discontinued

If you’ve been wanting to go to the LEGO House to pick up the exclusive Tree of Creativity (4000026) set, you may want to do so soon as LEGO has announced that it will be discontinued. The set will be available until they run out of stock so I’m assuming they don’t have a lot of inventory left. There is a special arrangement for some sets to be held back for attendees of AFOL Day in LEGO House in September.

The shelf space that is used for the set will be used for a new exclusive product that will be out in late May 2020 so stay tuned for that reveal in the next few months. Check out the press release below.

LEGO House Tree of Creativity” to discontinue

Since the opening of LEGO House it has been an important milestone to create exclusive products that relate to LEGO House and adds to the LEGO House experience for the guests. The first exclusive product launched was the LEGO House Architecture (21037) in 2017, followed by the LEGO House Tree of Creativity (4000026) in 2018, and then the LEGO House Dinosaurs (40366) in 2019.

LEGO House has now decided to discontinue the LEGO House Tree of Creativity – in order to make shelf space for a new exclusive product arriving in late May 2020.

The Tree of Creativity was originally launched as a great reproduction of the 15,6 metre tall Tree of Creativity in LEGO Square. The most iconic features were resized into the retail model. LEGO

The LEGO Ideas The Flintstones (21316) currently has a promotional coupon on Amazon in which works out to be about a 16% discount. It is still priced at $59.97 but you can save $9.98 on it if you apply the coupon on the page. The set hasn’t been on sale since late December and it could be one of the sets that will be going away later this year as more LEGO Ideas sets are released this year.

LEGO Minions: The Rise of Gru Official Set Images

LEGO has uploaded the product listings for the LEGO Minions: The Rise of Gru sets on Shop@Home and we can now see the high quality official images of the sets. We’ve already seen quite a bit of the sets from the 2020 New York Toy Fair but we can now clearly see some of the play features for them as well.
