LEGO Ideas SpaceX Falcon 9 (Saturn V Scale) Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The SpaceX Falcon 9 (Saturn V Scale) by Lego_Aviator is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build is in 1:110 scale which is similar to the Saturn V and it also has some other features including a separable second stage and deployable grid fins.

The project joins Mary Poppins, Cherry Tree Lane, Tesla Cybertruck, Untitled Goose Game, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and The Train Station: Studgate as the projects to reach the First 2020 Review Stage.

New LEGO Originals Patent Prints Available in VIP Reward Center

If you’re a collector of the LEGO Originals prints on the LEGO VIP Reward Center, there are some new ones that have recently been put up for redemption. There are some 1st Edition Patent prints that you can get for 650 points which includes the 1968 British, 1958 Spanish, and 1968 French patents. There’s also a limited edition 1963 German patent print which has a run of 5,000 for 1,500 points. They all come in premium paper with embossing so they’re pretty higher quality than regular posters.

LEGO Ideas International Space Station (21321) Designer Video

LEGO has recently released the designer video for the LEGO Ideas International Space Station (21321) which is now available for purchase. Designers Sam Johnson and Corvin Stichert talk about some of the many details that are in the set. You can also check out my review of the ISS here. LEGO BrickLink AMA Summary

A few days ago, LEGO did an AMA (Ask Me Anything) over on BrickLink answering some questions from the community regarding LEGO’s acquisition of the popular brick selling site. There were some really good questions that were asked from a wide range of questions. BrickLink has done a summary with the responses on a dedicated page in the link above if you want to check it out. So far, LEGO seems to be all-in on it but there are still a lot of members from the BrickLink community that aren’t too enthusiastic about it.

LEGO February 2020 Double VIP Point Sets

It’s a new month and that means there are some LEGO sets that now have Double VIP Points. These two sets include the LEGO Hidden Side Haunted Fairground (70432) and the LEGO Friends Baking Competition (41393). You will be able to earn 650 points on the Haunted Fairground set while the Baking Competition nets you 520 points. Both sets qualify you for the LEGO Masters Shopping Bag (5006086) and the Fairground also gets you the LEGO Hidden Side Drag Racer (40408).

Enter LEGO Masters Sweepstakes for Chance to Win $3,000 of LEGO

LEGO has kicked off a new sweepstakes for LEGO Masters where you can win a year supply of LEGO sets worth $3,000. For every $10 you spend on LEGO, you can enter for a chance to win the grand prize or some of the runner up prizes which includes a trip for four to LEGOLAND New York or $500 of LEGO sets each week which there are 12 chances to win. All you have to do is to upload your receipts from authorized LEGO retailers (LEGO Shop@Home, Walmart, Amazon, Target, etc.) and you are automatically entered. The sweepstakes runs from now until April 30.

LEGO Ideas The Train Station: Studgate Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Train Station: Studgate project by Bricky_Brick is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The project is based on a 17th Century concept station with modern features. It also proposed seven minifigures to go along with it.

The project joins Mary Poppins, Cherry Tree Lane, Tesla Cybertruck, Untitled Goose Game, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as the projects to reach the First 2020 Review Stage.
