LEGO Japanese Patent Print VIP Reward

LEGO Japanese Patent Print

I haven’t been on the LEGO VIP Rewards page lately but they have recently updated some of the rewards you can use your points on. If you’re a LEGO print collector, one of the more interesting items is the patent print that goes for 1,500 points. It is the Japanese Patent Application for the LEGO DUPLO brick from 1968. It is printed on premium paper with embossing and it measures 25.5cm x 31.6cm (10″ x 12.4″). It is limited to only 5,000 prints.

It’s September on the east coast and that means there are some new LEGO products that are now available on LEGO Shop@Home. First are the LEGO Disney Train and Station (71044) and the LEGO Ideas Central Perk (21319) which are now available to everyone. Lastly, the four new 2019 Advent Calendars are also available for purchase. These include Harry Potter (75964), Star Wars (75245), City (60235), and Friends (41382).

As far as promotions are concerned, there are two going on with the free LEGO BrickHeadz Bumble Bee (40270) with purchases of $65 or more and the free Year of the Pig with a purchase of the Dragon Boat Race (80103). LEGO City Mars Exploration Minifigure Pack (40345) Retired Already?

LEGO City Mars Exploration Minifigure Pack (40345)

Here’s an interesting piece of news that have just come across my inbox. It looks like LEGO has already retired the LEGO City Mars Exploration Minifigure Pack (40345) online even though it has only been available for only a month. I’m not sure if this an accident or if it has actually been retired or if it’ll come back in the future. If you have a LEGO Brand Store near you and still want it, you may want to call in and see if they have any in stock. Thanks to Jesse for the heads up!

New LEGO Pumpkin Storage Head Revealed

LEGO Pumpkin Storage Head

A few days ago, I talked about some new LEGO Magnet Sets that Room Copenhagen will be releasing in the near future. Over on their website, they have also revealed a new LEGO Pumpkin Storage Head just in time for Halloween. Kids can either use it to collect candy or for the its intended use which is to store LEGO bricks. It will be able to stack with the existing lineup of LEGO Storage Heads. There’s no word yet on when it will be available.
