LEGO has released the designer video for the upcoming LEGO Ideas Dinosaur Fossils (21320). LEGO Designer Niels Milan Pedersen and Design Manager Sam Johnson talks about some of the details of the set which includes three different dinosaurs, the Pteranodon, Triceratops, and Tyrannosaurus Rex. It will be available on November 1 for $59.99. You can check out my early review of the set here.
The LEGO Typewriter by Steve Guinness is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The project was conceived when Steve was on LEGO Masters UK and has continued to tweak the design to include a hand crank mechanism.
The project now joins Queen: I Want to Break Free, Seinfeld 30th Anniversary, The Legend of Zelda: BotW Stables, Planet Express Delivery Ship, and Ratatouille: Open The Doors! as the projects to reach the Third 2019 Review Stage.
Amazon is doing more sales on some retiring soon LEGO Star Wars sets and there’s another 50% off deal on the Sandcrawler (75220). This version is the smaller system style one that includes six minifigures, three of which are exclusive to this set. With it being at $70, the price per piece ratio comes out to about $0.06/pieces. This deal price matches Target but if you have a RedCard, you can get an additional 5% off with free shipping.
Amazon must be really trying to get rid of their old inventory because they now have the LEGO Star Wars Porg (75230) for 50% off the retail price. As of this writing, it is now priced at $34.99 and it is the best deal I’ve seen on this set. Who knows if it will drop even lower but at $0.04/piece, it’s not a bad deal at all.
The new LEGO Disney Frozen 2 sets have been out for a few weeks now and the only set that I was interested in picking up was the Olaf (41169) buildable figure. It has 122 pieces and retails for $14.99. The contents of the box include three un-numbered bags, a small sticker sheet and the instruction booklet.
It’s been rumored for a while that we’re most likely getting a new licensed LEGO Collectible Minifigures line in January 2020 with the DC Comics (71026) theme. Early reports are there are a minimum of 16 minifigures included with the set and they range from a wide variety of characters from the DC Universe. Some of these characters include:
