LEGO Target $10 Gift Card Promotion

Target has started a new promotion where you can get a $10 gift card with purchases of $50 or more on select LEGO products. It looks like there are 48 sets to choose from including some of the newer LEGO Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker sets. Target has also included some of the larger D2C sets in the promotion as well. None of these sets are on sale like with other retailers so it depends on whether you want the $10 gift card or the discounted price. Remember that you also get 5% off if you are a RedCard member. This promo runs until November 23.

LEGO 32×32 White Baseplates Reportedly Coming in 2020

It’s been almost 15 years since we’ve gotten LEGO 32×32 white baseplates but it looks like we’ll be getting them again next year. Hoth Bricks is reporting that LEGO will be releasing one in 2020 under the LEGO Classic theme with the product number 11010 at a price point of $7.99 each. It will be joining the lineup of 32×32 baseplates which includes Green, Blue, and Gray. For those who are looking to create snowy landscapes, it looks like it’ll be easier next year using the new white baseplates and not using white elements on top of the regular colored ones.

The LEGO Movie 2 Welcome to Apocalypseburg (70840) Walmart Sale – October 2019

The LEGO Movie 2 Welcome to Apocalypseburg (70840) is back on sale again over at Walmart for about 27% off the regular price. Since all retailers are dumping stock on older LEGO sets, you can find some really good deals and it’s even better if they are direct-to-consumer sets since they don’t go on sale as often as the regular ones.

Update: Amazon has price-matched this sale.

LEGO Ideas Central Perk (21319) Designer Video

Today, LEGO has released the designer video for the LEGO Ideas Central Perk (21319). Designers Milan and Crystal talk about some of the details in the set that are taken from the Friends TV show including some easter eggs that you can find in it.

The set itself has been temporarily out of stock ever since it was released back in September and even the restock only lasted few hours. That either shows you how popular Central Perk actually is or how LEGO underestimated the number of sets to produce for the initial release. You can check out our review of the set here.
