LEGO has revealed their newest product with the LEGO Originals Wooden Minifigure (853967). The set has 30 pieces and retail for $119.99 and it features an upscaled minifigure made out of wood. It will be available starting today at the LEGO Pop-Up gallery event and to VIPs from November 3-7 and to the general public on November 8.

If you didn’t know, the first LEGO toys were actually made out of wood by Ole Kirk Kristiansen and to pay homage to the past, LEGO has recently introduced a new LEGO Originals theme to release products that are from LEGO’s vast history. The Wooden Minifigure is 5:1 scale and it comes in a premium box along with a 28-page booklet featuring the history of the LEGO minifigure.

LEGO Star Wars Betrayal at Cloud City (75222) Amazon Sale – October 2019

The LEGO Star Wars Master Builder Series Betrayal at Cloud City (75222) is currently on sale for $285.64 which is 18% off the normal price. This is the lowest price the set has been at on Amazon. This Cloud City playset isn’t a very popular set but maybe this discount could tempting enough to warrant a purchase. Betrayal at Cloud City is reported to be one of the sets that will be retiring at the end of the year.

LEGO Hidden Side Newbury’s Juice Bar (40336) Promotion Back Again for Halloween

LEGO Hidden Side Newbury's Juice Bar (40336)

The promotion for the LEGO Hidden Side Newbury’s Juice Bar (40336) is now back again on LEGO Shop@Home just in time for Halloween. If you missed it the first time around, you can get it for free with purchases of $50 or more. It’s interesting that LEGO is rehashing old promotions. They probably produced a bunch and had a lot left over after the first round. Now is a good time to reference my list of retiring sets if you’re looking to pick up anything.

LEGO Ideas NASA Apollo Saturn V (21309) Amazon Sale – October 2019

The LEGO Ideas NASA Apollo Saturn V (21309) is currently discounted by 25% and is now priced at $89.99. If you saw my post of upcoming retiring sets, the Saturn V is on the list so now is a great time to pick it up before it goes away. Keep in mind that i is for the Frustration-Free Packaging which could either mean that it ships inside the LEGO shipping box or a shipping label could be slapped on the Saturn box itself. It’s a coin toss but at least you can always get a refund if you don’t like how you receive it.

Will Arnett Revealed as LEGO Masters Host

LEGO and Fox has announced that Will Arnett will be the host of the upcoming LEGO Masters TV show. That’s right, contestants will be able to chat it up with LEGO Batman himself. It has also been revealed that the series premiere of LEGO Masters will be on Wednesday, February 5. Now we wait for the reveal of the contestants that will be appearing on the show. It could be someone you know. Disclosure: I have been asked a few times to be on the show. Unfortunately, I couldn’t commit to the time period of when the show is filming so I had to pass.
