LEGO VIP Program Changes Coming Soon

LEGO VIP New 2019 Changes

If you’re a LEGO VIP member, you may have received an email this morning regarding some new changes coming to the VIP program in a few months. As I reported on earlier in the month, LEGO will be implementing the digitial VIP card very soon but for those who want the physical card can still get one. I suggest doing that in case they do away with it in the future. VIP accounts has to be registered online with an email address.

As a VIP member, we already have a lot of benefits including various promotional gifts, double point events, and early access to product launches that we get throughout the year and it looks like we’ll be getting even more on top of that. In the email, they said there will be an online rewards center that will be launching to introduce a new way to spend your VIP points. There’s no other details regarding this but I’m very interested on seeing what they have in store.

In addition, VIP points will be valid for 18 months with the expiration “clock” resetting after every purchase. With the current system we have now, VIP points would expire two years after earning if they weren’t used. Essentially this change will allow your points to stay active forever if you make a LEGO purchase every one and half years and you don’t have to worry on when your points will be expiring. This was an issue because LEGO would usually send an email notifying you when the points … Continue

LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 2 (71024) Box Distribution Revealed

LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 2 (71024)

It was only last week that LEGO announced the LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 2 (71024) and they will be available starting on May 1. Some of our fellow European RLFM outlets have started receiving their review copies and we now have some new details of the set. As far as the distribution of the minifigures, there are reported to be two complete sets per box and there will be some rarity in some of the minifigures. Three of them (Huey, Dewie, Louie) will only have two per box which is somewhat disappointing but at least there aren’t any that only one per box like with the Harry Potter series. The breakdown of the Series 2 Disney Collectible Minifigures are as below.

4 per box

Mickey Mouse
Minnie Mouse
Scrooge McDuck
Chip
Dale
Anna
Elsa
Hades
Frozone

3 per box

Jafar
Jasmine
Hercules
Sally
Jack Skellington
Edna Mode

2 per box

Huey
Dewie
Louie

We’ll be receiving our review box this Friday so our review of the set will be some time this weekend or early next week so stay tuned for that.

LEGO Arthouse and LEGO Brawls Announced for Apple Arcade

LEGO Brawls

Yesterday, Apple announced their own game subscription service called Apple Arcade and it looks like there will be a couple exclusive LEGO games that will be on it soon. Two games that were announced include LEGO Arthouse and LEGO Brawls. There’s not much details about LEGO Arthouse but LEGO Brawls will have their own twist to brawler games like Super Smash Bros. Players will be able to create their own characters and work with others to build machines to win their battles. The games sound interesting and I would’ve love to try them out but I don’t use Apple products so I’ll be on the sidelines for it. You can check out the teaser of LEGO Brawls below.

LEGO Brawls

The blocks will fly in this multiplayer brawler set in the LEGO universe. Players create their own characters, collaborate with teammates to build and control machines, and battle to win.

LEGO FORMA Koi (81000)

LEGO dived into paid crowdsourcing last year with them introducing LEGO FORMA on Indiegogo. To thank you guys, I will be giving it away as I have already backed a set of my own. All you have to do is to complete the tasks on the form below.
