A new month means new LEGO products are now available on Shop@Home. The main thing we know about is the Ford Mustang but there’s also some household items you may be interested in. The thing that I’m talking about is the LEGO Minifigure Ceramic Mug (853910). Retailing for $14.99, the mug features a yellow minifigure head with a smirking expression. Why not start your day off with a cup of coffee using this brand new mug?
Today is the release day for the LEGO Creator Ford Mustang (10265) and the free promotional gift to go with the set is the Ford Mustang Keychain (5005822). The promotion runs from now until March 10, while supplies last.
As you can see, the keychain comes in a resealable bag and is attached to a cardboard hanger. The keychain itself is a spinner variety where one side of it shows the LEGO logo and the other has the Ford Mustang logo. There’s also a smaller attachment that has the LEGO VIP logo.
If you purchased your set in store, LEGO is also giving away a cool bumper sticker that says, “My other car is a Mustang” and it encourages you to share an image of your car with the sticker on social media.
The LEGO Creator Ford Mustang Keychain (5005822) is a very nice promo item and you can get it for free with your LEGO Creator Ford Mustang (10265) purchase. It has some decent weight to it and the bumper sticker is a nice bonus although I won’t be using it. The keychain won’t show up when you use the dropdown to check the cart but it will be there when you actually go checkout. Supplies are limited but if you decide to wait on it, it potentially runs into the Marvel Bricktober set promotion as that one is now supposed to start on March 8. That’s if LEGO has enough of the keychains in stock online.
The LEGO Creator Ford Mustang (10265) is now available for purchase on LEGO Shop@Home. The set comes in at 1,471 pieces and retails for $149.99. If you’re a VIP member, you can also get Ford Mustang promotional keychain with your purchase, while supplies last. In addition, you’ll also get the LEGO Unikitty Roller Coaster Wagon (30406) polybag.
As of this writing, the keychain does not show up in the cart as it is having issues, like with all new releases.
The Office – NBC by theoffice_lego is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The project is based on the wildly popular TV comedy show and it contains about 2,500 pieces. The project also proposes 14 minifigures of the cast of the show.
The Office – NBC now joins National Museum – Rio de Janeiro and Anatomini as the projects to reach the First 2019 Review Stage.
As we get ready for Avengers: End Game, LEGO will soon finally be releasing the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Bricktober (5005256) minifigure collection as part of an upcoming promotion. If you collected and built the Infinity War sets, you may have noticed that some characters were missing from the lineup. Fortunately, they finally showed up in the Bricktober set, but for the US, this set was never released. Thanks to LEGO, we’ve gotten our hands on this minifigure set a little early to check out.
It looks like Amazon France has uploaded official images of a couple of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers: Endgame sets. First up, we have the War Machine Buster (76124) which has 362 pieces and it includes minifigures of War Machine, Ant-Man, and two Outriders. You’ll notice that they’re wearing the new white outfits for the movie.
The other set is called the Ultimate Quinjet (76126). It has 838 pieces and it includes minifigures of Rocket Raccoon, Hawkeye as Ronin, Black Widow, and Thor along with two Chitauri. Again, the Avengers have the new white outfits that we’ll be seeing in the movie.
**Via Brick Heroes**
This past weekend, I took my family for their first visit to LEGOLAND California and luckily for us, they were doing The LEGO Movie Days as well as the recently opened The LEGO Movie 2 Experience. The Experience is similar to the one from The LEGO Movie where the LEGOLAND California Model Shop Team reconstructed some of the movie sets into this area of the park. For TLM2, there were more than 500,000 pieces used and took over 960 hours to assemble with the help of Warner Bros. to make it look as close as possible. From what I saw, it is a faithful recreation of some of the rooms from TLM2. Some of the details that are shown include the basement Apocalypseburg table, Bianca’s room, and even the laundry room.
