As I reported earlier today, The LEGO Movie 2: The Awesomest, Most Amazing, Most Epic Movie Guide in the Universe is available starting today and I headed over to my local Barnes & Noble to pick up a copy. The book has 96 pages and retails for $8.99 and it is basically a short guide for the upcoming movie. Just a warning, there might be some minor spoilers so don’t read on if you don’t want to see what they are.
In a nice surprise, DK has released some new books for The LEGO Movie 2 today. One of them is called The LEGO Movie 2: The Awesomest, Most Amazing, Most Epic Movie Guide in the Universe and it is basically a introduction to the movie filled with facts and details about the story, the characters, and locations. There’s also supposed to be some secret stuff that LEGO hasn’t announced quite yet. I’m hoping to pick it up at Barnes & Noble so I can do a review later today. It has 96 pages and retails for $8.99.

THE LEGO MOVIE 2 Ultimate Sticker
If you’re looking for an even better deal on the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Quantum Realm Explorers (76109), Walmart has dropped the price on the set even more. It is now priced at $12.74 which is about 36% off the normal price of $19.99. At this reduced price, this set is an absolute steal with three exclusive minifigures and is the only set this year that is based on Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Recently, LEGO has quietly released some accessory packs called LEGO xtra and at the beginning of 2019, they will be releasing another polybag Sea Accessories (40341). Priced at $3.99 each, the polybag has 24 pieces and it features items that you are able to find or use in a water environment. Some of these items include a lime green surfboard with matching flippers, a treasure chest with a printed 2×2 map, binoculars, a barrel, an oar, a couple of harpoons, a buoy, a couple of gems, and a shell with a star pearl. There’s also some animals such as a shark, a multi-colored parrot, and a fish.
If you’ve been wanting to find a cheap way to add some animals to your layout, this Sea Accessories polybag could be the way to go. The shark has been appearing in more and more sets but the parrot is still a pretty rare animal and will only be in the larger modular buildings such as the Assembly Square (10255) and Corner Garage (10264) so this polybag is the cheapest way to get it.
The LEGO xtra Sea Accessories (40341) is a a decent parts pack that gives a variety of water-related items. Again, it will be available at LEGO Stores and on Shop@Home starting on January 1.

Last week, we got a first look at The LEGO Movie 2 Star-Stuck Emmet (30620) polybag and it looks like we know how to get it. EB Games has listed it as a pre-order bonus when you purchase The LEGO Movie 2 Video Game and the polybag will be packaged inside the box. GameStop here in the US will probably have the same bonus at a later date in time and I’ll let you know when that happens. The LEGO Movie 2 Video Game will be released on February 26 while the movie itself will be in theaters on February 8.
Earlier this month, we got our first look at the upcoming LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Captain Marvel and The Skrull Attack (76127) and the set has been recently added to LEGO Shop@Home. The set has 307 pieces and will retail for $29.99 and will be available at the beginning of 2019. As the set description say, the build is indeed an early version of the Quinjet that is able to shoot four missiles at the same time.

The LEGO Movie 2 sets have started to hit various Walmart locations and there’s yet another polybag to look for there. Aaron Hanks over on a LEGO Facebook group has found Lucy vs. Alien Invader (30527) has his location. It has 44 pieces and retails for $3.99 and the build is a brick-built DUPLO alien invader. So far, there are two TLM2 polybags that can be found at Walmart including this one and Mini Master-Building MetalBeard (30528).
