LEGO has officially revealed the next LEGO Ideas set coming to store shelves with Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (21360). Releasing on September 15, the set has 2,025 pieces and will retail for $219.99. The set was the winner of the LEGO Ideas Third 2023 Review Stage designed by 2PPL/BRICKUP and was the second time it was submitted by the fan designer before it was chosen.
The set features is based on the original 1971 movie. The chocolate waterfall is able to move when you turn the dial in the back. It also has the Wonkatania boat that goes down the chocolate river and it looks like it is big enough for seven minifigures. For the minifigures, there are 9 in the set including Willy Wonka, two Oompa Loompa, Charlie Bucket, Grandpa Joe, Augustus Gloop, Violet Beauregarde, Veruca Salt, and Mike Teavee.

August just flew by and we’re only about a week and a half out from the September 2025 LEGO releases. I will say that next month is fairly busy in the beginning with new releases for various themes including Wicked.
Two more projects have entered the LEGO Ideas Second 2025 Review Stage and it may seem like deja vu for some. We’re past the point where we see multiple projects of the same subject matter in the same review stage but I guess fans really like what they see. If you’re keeping count, we now have 137 projects that LEGO will be discussing with about a week and a half left.

Yesterday we saw three more projects reach the 10,000 supporter goal on LEGO Ideas to reach the Second 2025 Review Stage. As of this post, there are now 135 projects that are in the running to become an official LEGO Ideas set with more soon to be added to the list. It looks like things are starting to pick up again as projects are trying to join this illustrious list by the end of the month when the qualifying period ends.
