The rest of the images for the 2019 LEGO Speed Champions sets have now surfaced online which we’ve already saw one of them yesterday. The theme has expanded to a few new car manufacturers including Dodge and MINI.
Last month, we gotten some details on the upcoming 2019 LEGO Architecture sets and we now have images of the two sets.
San Francisco (21043) has 565 pieces and will include the Painted Ladies, 555 California Street, the Transamerica Pyramid, the Salesforce Tower, the Coit Tower, Fort Point, the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island.
Paris has 694 pieces and it will include the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs-Elysées, the Tour Montparnasse, the Grand Palais, the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre.

Back in September, LEGO announced another set from the “Out of the Vault” series with the LEGO Creator Vestas Wind Turbine (10268). It is similar to the 4999 version from 2008 which was only available to Vestas employees at the time. This new set has 826 pieces which is a bit more than the previous version and it will retail for $199.99. You will soon be able to get your hands on it when it becomes available starting on Black Friday, November 23. The contents of the box include nine unnumbered bags of smaller parts, three unnumbered bags of larger parts including Power Functions, a 32×32 green baseplate, and the instructions.
Last week, we saw images of the 2019 LEGO Ninjago Legacy sets which is a wave that pays homage to previously released sets. There were a good amount of them but there are now images of a few more to add to the list which come from a Malaysian hobby shop. Included are some more Spinjitzu sets of the Ninjas as well as two more Legacy sets.
As we continue with the reveals of the 2019 LEGO sets, we now turn our attention to the LEGO DUPLO wave. We’ve already seen one of these sets for The LEGO Movie 2 but there are some more basic learning sets.
It looks like LEGO Speed Champions will be continuing on in 2019 as there are now images of one of the sets coming next year. Official images of the Ferrari F40 Competizione (75890) has been revealed and it contains 198 pieces. It will most likely retail for $14.99 like with the other single car sets. There will be at least four sets that we’re waiting on for images which I’ll post eventually.
A few days ago, we saw the official images of the Asia exclusive LEGO Chinese New Year’s Eve Dinner (80101) and we also got a glimpse at the Dragon Dance (80102). There are now more images of the Dragon Dance and the back of the box does confirm that it does contain a kinetic play feature. On the left side of the box, you are able to turn the dial and it will move various sections of the dragon up and down. Also note that this set will also include a teal brick separator, a first of its kind.
From what I’ve been hearing, these sets will only be available to the Asian markets so it’ll be pretty difficult to obtain if you’re outside those countries. I feel they will sell well worldwide but in the meantime, LEGO will only be focusing the sets in that particular region.
