It’s the day after Christmas and that means LEGO has put up a lot of sets on sale at LEGO Shop@Home. There are over 400 sets that have been discounted from a lot of various themes and there are quite a few that are reported to be retiring soon as well. Shop@Home has been having issues but feel free to check back on it when it decides to start working.
The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part sets are now officially available for purchase on LEGO Shop@Home. There are a whopping 29 sets that you can choose from with a variety of fun builds in various sizes. Remember when you make your purchases from December 26 until January 15, LEGO VIP members can get free movie tickets from Fandango to see The LEGO Movie 2 when it comes out in February.
Specially designed for younger builders ages 4 and up, this playset lets kids use the tools to fix Benny’s Spaceship and Emmet’s Escape Buggy. Kids can “pump gas” into the vehicles and launch them into orbit, then use the spaceship’s buggy to explore new planets! Includes Emmet and Benny minifigures.

There are now more 2018/2019 LEGO polybags that have started to show up at various retailers. Thanks to Scott P., we now have images of three new ones that he was able to purchase at Target and Walmart. As you can see above, there is a LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Pelican (30571) that has 62 pieces and can be found at Target.
The LEGO Friends Friendship Flower (30404) is also found at Target and it was originally available as a gift-with-purchase promotional item back in February.
Finally, there is the LEGO City Arctic Ice Saw (30360) which was found at Walmart. It has 43 pieces and it was originally available in the UK that was packaged with the National Geographic Kids magazine.
The official box art for the LEGO Seasonal Penguin Winter Hut (5005251) is now on LEGO’s servers so that means that it is ready to be part of an upcoming promotion. LEGO has recently changed how they announce their promotions because they are not listed on the store calendars anymore but will be sent to your emails.
As for the Penguin, it shows her wearing a scarf and there are also a couple of printed skis included as well. As far as when it will be available, nobody knows but I’ll definitely let you guys know when that will be. I look forward to to adding this one to the growing collection of “hut” sets.
As I reported earlier today, The LEGO Movie 2: The Awesomest, Most Amazing, Most Epic Movie Guide in the Universe is available starting today and I headed over to my local Barnes & Noble to pick up a copy. The book has 96 pages and retails for $8.99 and it is basically a short guide for the upcoming movie. Just a warning, there might be some minor spoilers so don’t read on if you don’t want to see what they are.

One of them is called The LEGO Movie 2: The Awesomest, Most Amazing, Most Epic Movie Guide in the Universe and it is basically a introduction to the movie filled with facts and details about the story, the characters, and locations. There’s also supposed to be some secret stuff that LEGO hasn’t announced quite yet. I’m hoping to pick it up at Barnes & Noble so I can do a review later today. It has 96 pages and retails for $8.99.
