LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle (71043) Now Available for VIPs

The new LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle (71043) is now available for purchase on LEGO Shop@Home for VIP members. The 6,020 piece set costs $399.99 and it was also available for pre-order at LEGO Brand Stores where you put down a $40 deposit and you are guaranteed to get a set when it releases in stores in a few hours. Depending on how many pre-orders the stores took, they may also have them available for people who didn’t pre-order. It will be available for the general public on September 1.

I’m still working on my review of the set as it took a while to build during my spare time but I’ll have it up as soon as possible. Please use our links to make your purchase as it does help support the site.

LEGO Creator Free Fall Tower (10267) Listing for 2018?

LEGO Creator Free Fall Tower (10267)

Here’s something interesting that was just sent my way earlier today. According to Brickmerge.de, there’s another LEGO Creator amusement park set that is supposedly coming out this year with the Free Fall Tower (10267). It interesting because we’ve already gotten an amusement park set this summer with the Roller Coaster (10261) and they usually release once a year so twice a year will be really surprising. If it is a legit listing, we probably won’t see it until summer of next year but LEGO could drop a bombshell on us.

Another thing to note is that LEGO usually calms down on the direct-to-consumer set announcements from October to December, at least from the past few years, so it’ll be really surprising to see another larger set coming out this year. The next D2C sets that are rumored to be releasing this year are in September with the LEGO Star Wars Cloud City set and the LEGO Creator Winter Village set.

What do you guys think of a Free Fall Tower set that is listed to be released this year? Do you think it’s a bit too much since we’ve already gotten the Roller Coaster not too long ago? Personally, I don’t think it’s anything verifiable at this time since this is the first I’ve heard of it.

LEGO Architecture Las Vegas (21047) Review

LEGO Architecture Las Vegas (21047)

Earlier this year, it was revealed that there was going to be a LEGO Architecture Las Vegas (21047) set but as we know by now, it was delayed due to the tragedy late last year at one of the original hotels in the set. Fast forward eight months and LEGO decided to swap out one of the hotels as well as changing out the box printing and a few pages out of the instruction booklet. There’s no details of the price but counting the parts in the back of the booklet, there are 501 pieces unless I calculated wrong. The contents of the box include five unnumbered bags and the instruction booklet.

LEGO Wizarding World Newt's Case of Magical Creatures (75952)

J.K. Rowling’s newest series of movies for the the Wizarding World kicked off in 2016 with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. To much dismay of LEGO fans, there were no LEGO system sets that were produced for the movie which was interesting however there some LEGO Dimensions sets but they weren’t the same. Fast forward to this year and LEGO has revived the Harry Potter theme with the Wizarding World tie-in and there is finally a Fantastic Beasts set that is worth waiting for with Newt’s Case of Magical Creatures (75952). The set has 694 pieces and retails for $49.99. The contents of the box include four numbered bags, a bagged wing for the Thunderbird, a small sticker sheet, and two instruction booklets.
