LEGO Plants from Plants (40320) Review

LEGO Plants from Plants (40320)

Way back in March, LEGO announced that they will be producing LEGO plant elements using plant-based plastic in a move to use sustainable materials in a majority of the products and packaging by 2030. The first set that has been released using this initiative is the Plants from Plants (40320) set. You can get for free from now until until August 14 with purchases of $35 or more, while supplies last.

LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter Aragog’s Lair (75950) Review

LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter Aragog's Lair (75950)

The next series of reviews that I will be doing are for the new LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter sets that have just recently been released and the first set I’ll be taking a look at is Aragog’s Lair (75950) which is a scene from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. It is the second smallest set in the wave coming in at 157 pieces and retails for $14.99. The contents of the box include three unnumbered bags and a small instructions booklet.

LEGO SDCC 2018 Swag Pack Giveaway Winner

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes

Last week I ran a contest for some SDCC 2018 LEGO swag including some posters and the Jessica Cruz minifigure. The contest is now over with over 8,600 entries and the winner is:

Cesar R.

I’ve already contacted the winner and have already gotten shipping information. That’s why I waited to announce the winner because I didn’t want to change it if I didn’t get a response and had to choose another winner. Stay tuned as I’ll have another giveaway pretty soon for something different.

LEGO BrickHeadz Toys R Us Geoffrey (40316) Revealed

LEGO BrickHeadz Toys R Us Geoffrey (40316)

Toys R Us is gone at least here in the United States and the United Kingdom but it looks like there’s a LEGO BrickHeadz Toys R Us Geoffrey (40316) set that has been produced. I assume is set was going to be available at TRU later this year but it looks like that’s up in the air. Countries that still have Toys R Us stores could possibly still see this set but I’ll let you know when it is available. Until then, the building instructions are live on LEGO’s servers so you can build your own but there are some printed bricks of stars that are exclusive to this set.
