LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter Collectible Minifigures (71022) Reported Minifigure Breakdown

LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter Collectible Minifigures (71022)

The LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter Collectible Minifigures (71022) were revealed a few weeks ago and it looks like we finally have a box breakdown of the minifigures. According to CapnRex101 on the Brickset Forums, he has given a list of how many minifigures per box for each character and the results may surprise you.

Harry Potter:

3 – Harry Potter (Hogwarts Uniform)
3 – Hermione Granger
3 – Ron Weasley
3 – Draco Malfoy
3 – Neville Longbottom
3 – Cho Chang
3 – Dean Thomas
3 – Lord Voldemort
3 – Dobby
3 – Cedric Diggory
3 – Filius Flitwick
3 – Mad-Eye Moody
3 – Albus Dumbledore
2 – Luna Lovegood
2 – Sybil Trelawney
2 – Harry Potter (Invisibility Cloak)

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them:

3 – Newt Scamander
3 – Porpentina Goldstein
3 – Jacob Kowalski
3 – Queenie Goldstein
2 – Credence Barebone
1 – Percival Graves

As you can see above, it seems there are some fairly rare character minifigures like Luna Lovegood, Sybil Trelawney, Harry Potter with Invisibility Cloak, and Credence Barebone but the most surprising one is actually Percival Graves from Fantastic Beasts which only comes one per box. This basically gives you one complete set of Harry Potter LEGO minifigures per box which is a far shift from what fans thought was going to happen. There was a rumor that there would be three complete sets of Harry Potter characters and two of Fantastic Beast but it looks like that won’t be happening.… Continue

LEGO Harry Potter 20th Anniversary Target Event

LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter Target

LEGO Harry Potter fans, it looks like there’s an event at Target that you may be interested in attending for some cool swag. On Saturday, July 21 from 11am-2pm, Target will be holding a free Harry Potter 20th Anniversary event and it looks like some of the giveaways, while supplies last, include a LEGO Harry Potter branded Hogwarts crest cinch bag and a poster featuring Harry, Hermione, and Ron. It also looks like there’s an opportunity to enter to win a brick-built Hedwig statue. If you’re heading to San Diego Comic Con 2018, you’ll notice that the Target event is held on the same day so you’ll have to figure out your priorities. I’ll probably have to find the giveaways on the secondary market as I’ll be at SDCC.

Thanks to our friends at HaileyBricks and Brickanic for the heads up.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes SDCC 2018 Ant-Man and the Wasp (75997)

LEGO has revealed the third exclusive set that fans will be able to purchase at San Diego Comic Con 2018 with the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes SDCC 2018 Ant-Man and the Wasp (75997). The set has 218 pieces and the build is basically a bust of Ant-Man along with the Wasp minifigure. Luckily the Wasp is not exclusive as she also appears in the Quantum Realm Explorers (76109).

If you didn’t know, LEGO has moved to a lottery system for their exclusives so it’s a little harder to actually win because anyone who is attending can enter and whoever is chosen is guaranteed to win a set provided they show up to pick up the winnings. The LEGO SDCC 2018 reveals aren’t over yet as there are also exclusive minifigures given away as well so stay tuned for those reveals in the upcoming weeks.

The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part

Even though The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part doesn’t come out until February 2019, LEGO has kicked off promoting the movie by holding a new building contest called The Awesome Building Buddies Competition. All you have to do is team up with another person and building something that combines two of your favorite things.

The prize that you are able to win include having your submitted photograph at the end title sequence of The LEGO Movie 2. There will be at least one winner and up to 50 winners meaning that you probably have a good chance to have your photo immortalized in a feature length movie.

You can read more about the about the contest specifics in the link above. You have until July 31 to enter your submission.

LEGO Creator Aston Martin DB5 (10262) Box Teaser

LEGO Creator Aston Martin DB5 (10262)

LEGO has revealed another teaser for the LEGO Creator Aston Martin DB5 (10262) has they have showed off another image for the set. This time, there is a silhouette of the box in front of the gun barrel. There’s also the 007 and Aston Martin symbols at the bottom but at the top we have the LEGO Creator Expert which is the first time they have acknowledged what theme the Aston Martin DB5 is from. If you saw my post this morning, the Budapest LEGO Certfied Store already started their own promotion for it by taking pre-orders.

There’s still no word on when the set will be released but the July 18-31 VIP Early Access event seems like the best guess since there is also an event at the Leicester Square LEGO Brand Store happening on the same day.
