LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Video Game Teaser Trailer

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2

It looks like there’s another LEGO video game to look forward to in addition to the rumored The LEGO Ninjago Movie. TT Games has posted a teaser for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 video game on their Facebook page.

The video shows Groot as he is seen in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 so we can assume there might be parts of the movie in the game. At the end of the trailer, we can also see Doctor Stange as well.

The full trailer for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 on May 23 and we can most certainly see more about it during E3 next month.

LEGO set 6772 Alpha Team Cruiser was the second smallest set from the first wave of Alpha Team sets in 2001. The line consisted of 6 different sets and one of the most interesting things about it was that in order to assemble the entire lineup of the Alpha Team, each set needed to be purchased. The villain, Ogel, was available in both the largest and the smallest set, but Radia, Dash, Crunch, Charge, Cam, Flex, & Tee Vee were each produced once through the 4 protagonist sets. The Cruiser features Radia and is the only set to feature her in the original costume. The parts are all fairly common except for the Purple grille tiles which were only featured in this set and the original Mos Espa Podrace from Star Wars. Gasgano’s podracer contained 13 of them! But that’s a set for another day.

How a LEGO Star Wars Set is Created

A particular LEGO set takes lots of time and planning to get from the development stage to store shelves. During Star Wars Celebration 2017, LEGO Star Wars Senior Art Director and Brand Manager Rob Johnson did a panel to discuss the development process of how a LEGO Star Wars set was created which normally the public doesn’t get to see.

Solid Brix Studios was able to attend the exclusive panel and he has posted the whole panel on his channel. If you have some time, I highly suggest checking out the video as it does have some great detail of how a LEGO set is made.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30608) Polybag Hints at New Video Game Coming

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30608)

It looks like there’s a new The LEGO Ninjago Movie polybag that has surfaced on eBay in Germany featuring Lloyd (30608). The polybag features the Green Ninja in a kendo outfit sort of paying homage to the kendo outfits back in 2012.

If you look closely at the bottom left corner, there’s a code H7HGT3 which may suggest that this Lloyd (30608) will be a promotional polybag for The LEGO Ninjago Movie game. Although nothing has confirmed at this time of a game, Arthur Parsons over on Twitter may or may not have been dropping subtle hints about a new game coming soon. E3 is just over a month away and he has stated that he will be there at the convention so I’m assuming there will be an announcement during that time.

The little code on the corner is a trend that has been going on with standalone LEGO video games including the Plastic Man (5004081) from LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, Silver Centurion (5002946) from LEGO Marvel Avengers, and Finn (30605) from LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Thanks to AdrianF for the email.
