In the past week or so, we’ve seen a lot of the 2019 LEGO Technic sets but there are even more sets that fans can expect to see starting next year.
The LEGO Minecraft theme returns for 2019 and it’s a theme that continues to be a strong one even though it doesn’t seem like it. For next year, LEGO is trying something new with some of the sets in which they are turning some of the characters into Bigfigs and it seems there will be additional series for them.
The LEGO Ninjago returns next year for their eighth year and for 2019, LEGO is doing something new and old for the theme. If you looks at the sets, fans of the theme may notice that they look like sets that have been released before. The sets are now named LEGO Ninjago Legacy which are based on older sets that have been updated a little bit and they also show what season the set first appeared in. These new 2019 Ninjago sets are great for the newer fans of the show who didn’t have a chance to get them when they first released.
Images of the 2019 LEGO Star Wars sets popped up online yesterday from a YouTube channel and they were originally deemed a leak by LEGO but today in the wee morning, LEGO has decided to allow us to report on them. Returning next year are more Battle Packs as well Microfighters along with some medium to larger sets. Also integrated in the LEGO Star Wars line are the LEGO Juniors which are now labeled 4+.
The Walmart Black Friday 2018 deals for the LEGO Classic Creative Box (10704) and the LEGO DUPLO Creative Box (10854) are now live online. Each box is $20 and there is free two day shipping or free pickup options for both sets. Walmart stores will also be selling the sets as well starting tomorrow. These are the same deals as last year but the price is worth the amount of pieces you get for them.
In addition to the LEGO Creator Detective’s Office (10246) going on sale just a few moments ago, the LEGO Creator Tower Bridge (10214) is also on sale at good discount as well. It is also 25% off and is currently going for $179.99. The Tower Bridge is also one of the sets that will be retiring soon so this is the perfect time to get it.
It looks like Amazon has kicked off the Black Friday sales early and the LEGO Creator Detective’s Office (10246) is on a deep discount. It is currently priced at $119.99 which is 25% off the normal retail price and will be a better sale than when LEGO has their sale on Shop@Home. Of course, you’ll want to go this route if you don’t care about the Christmas Gift Box (40292) promotion that goes along with it. Thanks to Bruce for the heads up!… Continue
