More Details of Rumored LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon

It looks like there’s more information coming out today that gives more details of the rumored LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon. Stash2Sixx over on Eurobricks has reported that it will be at least $600 and it will be released around October. He also has given some info about some of the minifigures that will be included in the set such as Hoth Leia, Hoth Han, Chewbacca, Finn, Rey, BB8, Old Man Han, and possibly a Mynock. These minifigures correspond to the ones my source gave me a few months ago of the original trilogy minifigures.

If you haven’t heard of Stash2Sixx before, they have given correct information before in the past about LEGO Star Wars sets so I consider them be a credible source.

LEGO Ideas Teases More of Apollo 11 Saturn-V Rocket

LEGO Ideas Apollo 11 Saturn-V Rocket

LEGO has teased another image from the LEGO Ideas Apollo 11 Saturn-V Rocket set but this time it is the Apollo Lunar Module sitting in the background. Last week, part of the Saturn-V Rocket was shown off so it looks like LEGO is staying true to the project and including everything so far that was proposed.

If you think about it, it is the second Friday in a row that LEGO has done a teaser for this set so hopefully the trend continues. The LEGO Ideas Apollo 11 Saturn-V Rocket will be landing soon in June.

LEGO Ideas Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers project by Bruce Lowell is the latest one to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. It features the original six Power Rangers, Zack, Kimberly, Billy, Trini, Jason, and Tommy in their respective suits, with Tommy in the Green and White Ranger suits. as well as the command center where it has Zordon and Alpha 5.

The project now joins The Blues Mobile, SEGA Classic Arcade Machines, Dungeon Master, Red Arrows Hawk, Venetian Houses, and Jeep Wrangler, NBC’s The Office, and Tron Legacy Cycle as the projects to reach the First 2017 Review Stage.

Update: It has been confirmed by Jason Bischoff, Director of Global Consumer Products for Saban Brands, that the current license with Mega Construx Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is non-exclusive which means that LEGO is free to negotiate with Saban on a licensing agreement.

There is nothing about the MEGA deal that prevents us from exploring LEGO ideas.

LEGO Minecraft Teases Largest Set Ever for Theme

LEGO Minecraft

Earlier today, LEGO did a teaser post for LEGO Minecraft announcing they will be releasing the largest set ever for the theme. It is most likely that the set will be The Mountain Cave (21137) which I believe is the upper-right area of the overworld map. The map pretty much shows every Minecraft set that has been released so far except for that area so I’m taking an educated guess that it’ll look somewhat like that.

Currently, the largest set in the LEGO Minecraft theme is The Village (21128) which comes in at 1,600 pieces and retails for $199.99 so this new D2C set will have more parts. There’s no word on when the reveal will be but you’ll be sure that I’ll be reporting about it when it does.

LEGO Dimensions The Goonies Level Pack (71267) Octopus Teaser

TT Games has been fairly quiet about some of the upcoming LEGO Dimensions expansion packs but today they released a little teaser of The Goonies Level Pack (71267). As you can from the clip below, it shows part of the game at One-Eyed Willy’s Pirate Ship and next to it is the octopus from the deleted scene in the movie. If the deleted scene octopus is in the game, I’m sure there will be more Easter eggs in the expansion pack.

The Goonies Level Pack (71267) will be available on May 9 and it includes the Sloth minifigure along with One-Eyed Willy’s Pirate Ship and the Skeleton Organ as the builds. The alternate builds for the ship are the Fanged Fortune and the Inferno Cannon while the Skeleton Organ can turn into a Skeleton Jukebox and Skele-Turkey.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie D2C Set Confirmed

The LEGO Ninjago Movie

If you saw the post for the LEGO Rebrick contest for The LEGO Ninjago Movie, one of the prizes that will be given out for the winners has shed some light on the D2C set that will accompany the movie.

As I first reported last month, there will be a D2C set that will be part of Ninjago City, possibly a modular building. We now know that it will be valued at $300 USD which suggest that it will be upwards of around 3,000 pieces. Stay tuned as we wait for the reveal of this D2C The LEGO Ninjago Movie set as well as the regular sets.
