Toys R Us has released their new weekly ad and their main promotion is a LEGO Nexo Knights Collector Case (5004913). You can get it for free with purchases of $40 or more. The Collector Case is able to store up to 25 Nexo Powers shields and it also has a Combo Nexo shield built into the case cover, Jungle Dragon Nexo Power and info leaflet. The promotion runs until Saturday, March 11.
It looks like there are box art images of the upcoming LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean The Silent Mary (71042) courtesy of Minifigure Price Guide. The image is kind of dark but you can still see that the design of it is ominous and the ship is based on the new one captained by Armando Salazar in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. You can check out more images of the set over in the announcement post. The Silent Mary will be available for VIP members starting on March 17 and April 1 for the general public and will retail for $199.99.

Barnes & Noble is wrapping out their promotions for The LEGO Batman Movie and for their last event for the movie is a building event for a mini Batmobile. This exclusive version of the Speedwagon is different from the 30521 polybag so if you want to collect everthing for the movie, you should participate in the event. The Make & Take event is held next Saturday, March 11. The times vary so you will have to find out what time a particular store will be holding the event.
At the finale for our three-month celebration of The LEGO Batman Movie, kids will be able to help Batman protect Gotham from the Joker by making their very own LEGO Batman Speedwagon! Kids can also collect the final two limited edition trading cards featuring characters from the movie. Join us for this fun LEGO Make & Take event (while supplies last).
Last week, Reputation Institute released their annual RepTrak 100 survey and it was announced that The LEGO Group ranked second for the most regarded company in the world coming in only behind Rolex. The RepTrak 100 measures the corporate reputation of 100 companies and it asked the public in 15 countries in the world about the emotional appeal of each company. The survey is scored in seven categories including Products & Services, Innovation, Workplace, Governance, Citizenship, Leadership and Performance. It has been announced that there will be a PlayStation 4 exclusive LEGO Agents Pack for the upcoming LEGO Worlds. The LEGO Agents Pack will have Agent Chase and Agent Trace as well as some villains with Dr. Inferno and Dyna-Mite. Check out the trailer for LEGO Worlds LEGO Agents Pack below. LEGO Worlds will be available next week on March 7.
The LEGO Minecraft theme continues in 2017 with a number of sets and the first one I’ll be reviewing is The Waterfall Base (21134). The set contains 729 pieces and retails for $69.99. The contents of the box includes five numbered bags and two instruction booklets.
The Venetian Houses by McMarco is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. It features a double modular size model that shows a couple of Mediterranean buildings between a bridge and a water canal. The 4,500 brick project also includes 17 minifigures.
The project now joins The Blues Mobile, SEGA Classic Arcade Machines, Dungeon Master, and Red Arrows Hawk as the projects to reach the First 2017 Review Stage.
