It’s been a while but there’s another LEGO Ideas project that has achieved 10,000 supporters with the Food Stand Diners by FrostBricks. The project features three food stands that are designed to resemble a life size food counterpart including drinks, burgers, and fries. The project now joins the Dinosaurs Fossils Skeletons – Natural History Collection and Chemical Plant as the projects to reach the Third 2018 Review Stage.

When the LEGO Overwatch theme was first announced back in May, I literally had to sit down at work and soak it all in. There was no actual reveal of the sets by LEGO themselves as we found them using some tricky methods. The LEGO Overwatch sets will be coming out in a few weeks and we were lucky enough to get our hands on the sets ahead of time thanks to LEGO. The first set I’ll be taking a look at is Tracer vs. Widowmaker (75970). It has 129 pieces and retails for $14.99 which is a little high but let’s check it out and see if it is worth the price.

Christmas is only two weeks away and Warner Bros. has released a new animated short called Emmet’s Holiday Party: A LEGO Movie Short. In the short, Emmet is trying to bring some cheer to Apocalypseburg in times of despair while Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi and Sweet Mayhem watch on. Check out the full two and a half minute video below.

Starting tomorrow, LEGO will have a new promotional item with the LEGO Seasonal Reindeer Head Christmas Ornament (5005253). You can get it with purchases of $50 or more at LEGO Stores and on Shop@Home, while supplies last. After taking a year off, LEGO introduces the 28 piece Reindeer Head which joins the 2014 Christmas Train (5002813), 2015 Christmas Train (5003083), and the 2016 Toy Soldier (5004420).
Like with the previous ornaments, the parts are inside a little green pouch along with the instructions and the string.

The build is very straight-forward and the finished result looks a lot like a reindeer head mount which is kind of morbid. I do recommend changing the black 1×1 round plate for the nose to a red one to represent Rudolph as it makes the build a bit more festive.

Thank you to LEGO for sending in this set for me to review. The content above represents my own opinion and not the company. Review sets sent in does not guarantee a positive review.

In some sad news today, the original writers of LEGO Ninajgo: Masters of Spinjitzu, Dan and Kevin Hageman, announced on Twitter that they will be leaving the show after Season 9. They’ve helped with the story development that leads up to the 100th episode of the show which will be airing some time next year. Bragi Schut will be taking over the reigns for the foreseeable future. The Hageman Brothers have created so many memories for fans of Ninjago and many will be sad to see them leaving the show. We wish them the best in their future endeavors.
Goodbyes are fraught with so many emotions. Though it saddens us to tell our Ninjago fans we’ve written our last episode, we are encouraged to know it won’t be the last Ninjago adventure. We’ve known for a while that after 8 great years, S9 would be our final curtain call… 1/7

While we helped the story development for the lead up to the 100th Episode, it’s truly the work and genius of our friend @bragischutjr. We feel lucky to be able to help pick our predecessor and we know Ninjago is safe in his capable hands (unless the Overlord coms back.)… 2/7

… ContinueBut Bragi is one in a long line we want to thank. This was only made possible because our good friends @LEGO_Group took a chance on us. We were untested. And often had some crazy ideas.
