The new 41597 LEGO BrickHeadz Go Brick Me (Amazon | Shop@Home) set is now available and so far it’s been a huge hit in the LEGO community and LEGO Rebrick has a new contest for some very nice prizes up for grabs including some of the current wave of sets as well a plethora of unannounced sets and a shopping spree.

The objective of the contest is pretty simple, just create yourself in the BrickHeadz style and submit the entry by May 8, 2018 at 10am EST. Check out the full list of rules in the link above.

LEGO Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Baby Velociraptor Playpen (30382) Polybag Official Images

If you’re looking to complete your collection of LEGO Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom sets, it looks like there’s a new polybag that has shown up over on Walmart called the Baby Velociraptor Playpen (30382). What’s a big theme release without a polybag, right? It contains 48 pieces and retails for $3.97 but it is currently not in stock at this time. This polybag is the cheapest way to get the baby Velociraptor so I think it’ll be a very popular polybag when it comes out.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Runaways DLC Now Available

The next DLC pack for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 video game is now available to download with the Runaways Character and Level Pack. Some of the new playable characters in the pack include Nico Minoru, Chase Stein, Alex Wilder, Karolina Dean, Molly Hayes, Old Lace, and Gertrude Yorkes.

You can now purchase the Runaways DLC for $2.99 or if you have the Deluxe Edition of the game, you can download it for free. Check out the press release below.

LEGO BrickHeadz Incredibles 2 Mr. Incredible & Frozone (41613) Official Images

A few weeks ago, we got a first look at the upcoming LEGO BrickHeadz Incredibles 2 Mr. Incredible & Frozone (41613). There are now high quality official product images of the set and it looks even nicer especially with all the printed pieces included on both of the characters. I particularly like the printed googles on Frozone and I can see it being very useful on custom builds. Also note that all of the 2018 LEGO BrickHeadz sets do not have the printed tile for the base which makes me question why they did it with the previous ones. According to the Spring 2018 catalog, Mr. Incredible & Frozone (41613) will be available starting on April 20.

Two Exclusive Early Access LEGO Sets Coming in May

The last important piece of news that comes out of the May 2018 LEGO Store Calendar is that LEGO has revealed there will be two new exclusive sets that will be available for Early Access for LEGO VIP members from May 16-31.

One of the sets that could be coming out for Early Access is the LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron (42083) which was teased back at the Nuremberg Toy Fair. The speculation comes from the announcement on the minisite for the set which shows that the release date had been pushed up to June 1 for world release. This makes sense as Early Access is a few weeks before the general release of the set.

The other set that will be coming out is a complete mystery to me. From what I’ve gathered online, it could be the Visitor’s Center from Jurassic Park as it has been heavily rumored. As we know by now, we’re already getting a Walmart exclusive 25th anniversary set called the Jurassic park Velociraptor Chase (75932) and there’s talk that it could somehow connect to the Visitor’s Center. But again, these are just rumors so we’ll get the information of the second Early Access set later this month or early next month.

LEGO BrickHeadz Tactical Batman & Superman (41610) First Look

A short while ago, I did a post of the May 2018 LEGO Store Calendar and on the back of the calendar, we can see a brand new LEGO BrickHeadz set that will be available starting in May. As you can see in the image above, we will be getting the Tactical Batman & Superman (41610) set from the Justice League movie which will be a two-pack and will retail for $19.99.

There’s no word on piece count but this will be the third version of Batman and the second for Superman in the BrickHeadz line but these two will complete the Justice League lineup of super heroes.

LEGO May 2018 Store Calendar Promotions & Events

The May 2018 LEGO Store Calendar is finally available and we can now see the promotions and events that will be happening during the month.

May 1-2: VIP Monthly Mini Model Build is a Tractor.

May 4: LEGO Star Wars UCS Y-Wing (75181) available for purchase.

May 4-6: LEGO Star Wars May the 4th Event. The promotions include:

– Mini BB-8 with a LEGO Star Wars purchase of $75 or more.
– Double VIP ponts on most Star Wars items.
– Select sale items.
– Make and Take build in stores which will be a Porg

May 7-20: Free LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Teen Groot Keychain (5005244) with a purchase of $50 or more. This is the same keychain at Target for $5.99 each.

May 16-31: VIPs get Early Access to to new exclusive sets. The reveals of these sets should be coming in the next few weeks. What’s your guesses on these?
